Right... just a thought.... The White Rose seems to be in the lead at the moment... but there is a white rose on the WYIOC badge so I feel in the interests of being different and keeping the peacemaybe we should keep the white rose off the sticker..... just an idea

how about Nestle Subaru owners .... everyone in yorkshire loves kitkat's
seriously tho the White rose is in more relation to the West yorkshire areas.
I think the suggestion of NYSMO is good might upset the nissan owners tho lol

I Agree completely and am just simply trying to be constructive, Yorkshire is already represented on SN With the WYIOC and South Yorks Scoobies and East With Hull scoobs.
Given the area your club is reaching out to in the 'main' is North yorks, I feel North / Northern is a far more apt name, albeit members can and will join your club regardless of there geographic position and rightly so. More so with your proven organisational skills, and the eagerness of potential members already.
I would possibly have NYSOC name badge on my profile as an honorary member of course if you would let me, however another none specific Yorkshire one would kind of conflict with my already in place WYIOC members badge.
Hope this is truly taken as a constructive post as it is certainly not a spat, as most if not all you know I don't do that.

Nice post Mick.. I agree.... We really need to be identified as a North Yorkshire Club so future members can identify where they would be best joining...
maybe the way to go is NYSOC.... does anyone have any strong feelings AGAINST this
A lot of sense has been said on this thread....
