Got a call from H&S today saying my Exhaust will be with me tomorrow evening

They use UPS for couriering the exhausts so they are pretty much guaranteed to arrive when they say they will and they wont be on strike!!!!!

i,ve been thinking for a few days since i got the back box from H+S if i should post on here what i think about it.

i thought i was getting a top quality exhaust,from the numerous posts on here rating them and the price they are to buy,

my honest opinion is they are fairly low quality ,or at least the one i recieved is,i would expect the bends in the pipework to all be smooth clean bends but the last one before it goes into the silencers is poor, also the tail pipe that comes out of the exhaust, the join down it is poor from the outside it isnt a continuous curve there is a ridge ,and on the inside the weld is clearly visible,i noticed the pic on the website the inside of the tailpipe is rubed down and no sign of the join,i suppose when it goes black after use it wont be noticable but i did plan on polishing the inside of it up.

i just wonder if these exhausts are the same quality as solld outside of a group buy,if i had paid £251 including delivery for it i would have sent it back.

Quick question for Ian. I wasn't expecting to see the threaded holes for the O2 sensors, does that mean I won't need the CEL fix next time it's mapped, or is the CEL fix needed because the CAT isn't there any more?

Just drove back to London with the over run turned up on my apexi and the car was poping, cracking and banging like nothing before!

Long time !! you need the cel fix as the cat isn't there ,if you are going to remap then they sort that issue out at the time of the map.
