Looks an absolute bargain... unfortunately it has come at the wrong time for me too.

I am looking for a bulletproof 2.5 and this is spec'ed dead right for the job.

Whoever buys this wont be disappointed I am sure.

Cheers mate. It's nice knowing that there are still people out there that appreciate what this spec means and understand that it isn't cheap to build such a unit.

Yep: A revvy 2.5 just waiting here!

I have asked the wife, but it didn't work....I'm not being flippant.

Keep going. The winter rebuilds will be coming up soon and plenty parts-gathering.

THAT is what your engine is!

John Stevenson in Scotland has a steel 2.5 that runs 8K/500+ and is in one piece after merciless thrashing on hillclimbs (John races like an animal).

Non revving 2.5's are a myth when built like your motor.

Get some pics of the engine up to help persuade people! (I shall look away!)

Lol, i'll send them to your email.

True about the revving myth. Even with a 7k rev limit in my last scoob, it was more than enough for a road car. Still taking me a while to get used to an 8k rev limit now, but i dont always take it above 7k when i know i can.

Prolly will try and get pics....means a 160 mile round trip mind you.

Nice one Dave, only problem is that you are now going to regret not having a Revvey 2.5 in your P1
