paypal is easy to setup and you can fund from your bank account. plus the carges are less than a bank transfer

am still waiting for delivery to me. i have chased but not heard anything myself, hence no news. anyone who wants their money back is welcome to and i'll take it up with the supplier.
i need this myself so not happy either.

Did they charge for delivery? Ask them for a refund on that, as it's taken far too long.
And can I claim back my delivery charge?

If we were to start sending the funds back and forth Paypal would take a cut each time. If you think it will be delivered within a reasonable period of time (2/3 weeks) I'd be happy to sit it out. If it looked like it was going to be longer than that I think I'd need to go elsewhere.
If you have any idea how long you're expecting it to be that would be helpful. It's just the open ended timeline that causes concern.
