Frayz's little tuning update..
The MAF has its advantages - I too went for induction kit because at some point it becomes a restriction. It was for me which showed when we put in the APS kit and could rescale the MAF up from 300 grams/sec max to 465
I think it is better to do it in stages like frayz has as it really helps you to see what the effect of each individual change was and why it was needed.
Maxxing injectors was meaning that boost had to be reduced -> bigger injectors means the boost can be raised back up
Maxxing MAF was strangling the air flow at high rpm -> bigger MAF -> more air -> more power
Maxxing the TMIC - this will happen with the boost that will be wanted to run and a move to FMIC will then make it have a cooler air charge (if a good FMIC ie APS 725 and measured) -> cold air = more torque/power
Doing each step then monitoring measuring makes it easy to see what has been achieved and use it truly as a development vehicle.
Mine is on a similar development with 800cc injectors going in shortly aswell as solving other 'issues/shortcomings' that are raised and could be raised - best way to learn/develop IMO.

I know I like them, I was at Mocoms last week getting my Dp etc taken out and was talking to Luke about them and how snazzy they were. I only saw them because the window was open , your tints are very tinted

i thought that mo's were meant to be light. knew they were on the more expensive side for wheels.
what about the rota's that 53wrx has just bought? not sure what the cost is on them though?

Rota are pretty light, crap finished but cheap.
Ive been offered a set of formula mesh's in 18x8 for £450...
Might see if i can get some from the states though as they seem to have a better selection of Rotas

Not that fussy, one was two different colours, one was pre kerbed, one had a chip and one had a 5mm bubble, not to mention the metalic debris on the inside. Compared to the Prodrive wheels the finishing is not as good but I may have just been unlucky.

Thyre only available in the US, but they will sell to me. However they wont ship to me but requested that i sort my own shipping. Im going to see if i can get them shipped as i think they look the nuts.
Would suit my Black with red hints theme a treat i think... especially with some red lightweight nuts too.

No m8, it was originally planned as a monster, but various things have conspired against me, so now should be a nice torquey fast road car.
we've had to wait until recently for the 2.5 as well!
