Well I've been there loads of times, the staff are always helpful and I don't think I've ever been disappointed.
The place is always spotless and some of the offers they have make it worthwhile going.
I'm amazed people have had so many problems TBH, I wonder if any of you have tried the Zinger Tower Burger?

I've been and know (real) people who have bought there....
1. Cheap (scruffy) import is a risk !
2. Expensive new import is a risk ! (panel gaps were awful !)
3. Trade-ins are probably in reasonable nick.... unless it's "sawdust in gearbox" time !
4. Staff couldn't be bothered to talk to us... (lucky it's local !)
IMHO

I did think that people who buy cars from a take away resturant were never going to be 100% happy...

K.T.C and 300ZX
Exactly.
I have sympathy with ya fella but you MUST do your homework when buying used motors. I have done HPI/Inspections on cars from main dealers.[/QUOTE]
I accept your comments and yes I should have had the car inspected. All I am saying is be very careful if you decide to give KTC your custom. After sales service is shocking (well basically, they are just not interested). Also, afterwards I discovered the M.O.T was not in order. One Digit on registration printed on M.O.T was different to registration on V5 docs. and also again just one digit for V.I.N on M.O.T differed from V5 and chassis no. on car! I would not call that an oversight or a mis-read by the garage in Accrington that passed the car for M.O.T (evidently friends with KTC I found out). Most probably a way of giving the car an M.O.T for a quick sale that should not have passed in the first place. (An independent inspection by a local garage confirmed this). I went to the garage that did the M.O.T (no satisfaction there). I contacted VOSA and they were very helpful. They said the M.O.T examiner had just probably mis-read the Registration and also mis-read the V.I.N. Amazing... Should a person that M.O.T's cars have eyesight that bad! Anyway, sent the V5 and incorrect M.O.T to VOSA and received an amended one by return. It's my own fault as I should have been more thorough and less trusting but just dont want anyone else to be out of pocket.
Cheers, Phil

That happens all the time with imports ,i always have to remind the inspectors to include the - after the first letter prefix otherwise they don't bother and it differs from the vin.

Wake up if they were any good they would be on here defending themselves, BUT THERE NOT ARE THEY, EXACTLY. MY cousin just last tuesday won a court claim agasinst them and they never even bothered to turn up. They have put a costs form in saying they can only afford sixty quid a week. STAY CLEAR, THIEVING CON MERCHANTS.

We used to go there for a laugh sometimes. I can't believe people buy imports from them though The cars are a mix of freaks (have they still got that Merc with the Testarossa kit? Must have been sat there about 5 years) and dogs - surely looking at all the motors with bits missing and/or hanging off would be enough to put most off? If not, just watch them "prepping" the cars, nothing like giving an engine bay a good indiscriminate jetwashing for that spangly clean look!
While I'm on, sympathies to the guy with the fooked 300zx, but your YouTube skit sucks.

Typical of the members of SN to rubbish someone they personally have never had any dealings with..! Instead they just listen to the Chinese whispers through the grape vine..!
Well I've had the happy experience of actually dealing with the KTC, buying this very rare s204 off them..:
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...n5467/S204.jpg
They were more than helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to buy my next car off them. They told me the s204 will hold it's value, probably even increase in value when the new model (dog..) comes out..!
So there you go chumps, never look a gift horse in the mouth as they say..

Never, ever, ever buy a Japanese Import Subaru without Full Japanese History AND the all important jewel-in-the-crown Japanese Auction Certificate, which will have the vital grading of the car at the time of auction. Should ideally be a grade 4 or above.
What kind of car importer does not have the auction certificate? Probably one where the car is actually graded 'R' meaning it has been crash repaired and sold very cheaply. All JDM's have history, the Japanese are very meticulous about keeping all documents relating to their cars, so they don;t go missing unless the nice UK importer has made them go missing.
And even worse than these unscrupulous dealers themselves are the mental, insane people in this country who actually buy these cars without any history or auction certificate.

They have a bad reputation on every Forum, do a search on the lancer register for instance. They mostly import accident damaged crap and repair them badly. Torque of Keighley is owned by the same people.. Stay well clear.

Keighley Trade Centre - Bad cars, no value for money
Yes.....that place it's just horrible. I went there to get a car for £2500, and after the first week it was already back to the garage to be fixed. II asked to swap my car with another one but they refused and wanted me to pay more money. After I have paid for the car, they wrote that there is no warranty whatsoever on the car, and that the mileage isn't correct. Do not waste your money in that shop. If you have been cheated by them I am organizing a group of people to bring them to court. Send me an e-mail to gabyost898 [at] gmail.com for details

When I first got into cars I didn't know anything and was the type who could be badly ripped off.
The first Impreza I got was an import which I found out later had been in a front ender, but guys at prosport says it was very minor though and the repair was 100%, just a replaced reo-bar I think it was. Could have been a lot worse for me though. Repair had been done in Japan we thought.

About 3yr ago i drove a few hundred miles to look at a car that they advertised as mint when i got there it was a right mess the front end was a different shade to the rest of the car it was rusty as **** bits missing the list could go on.
As i wouldn't have even considered this car i looked at a few others and they were all of similar poor quality.
Inside their building there looked to some serious money machines though, there must have been over half a million pound worth of porsche ferrari range rovers and so on.
