I've just found the silver sticker proving mine is a GENUINE Spec D.
Why didn't IM bother putting on a number to show which of the elusive 300 mine was?

Hi, I'ev had mine since around Feb/March and absolutely love it. I get around 25-30mpg but have stopped checking. Amazingly fast and capable car at a great price!

Does anyone play with the diff control? I've always left it on auto?

I certainly am Nick, the removable towbar is totally invisible when it's not fitted..!!

I was behind another D in the convoy for most of the way, but don't know who's it was as we got split up on entry to Warwick.

Had to come to a compromise with the wife she didn't want a picnic table on the boot and cheap toy looking gold wheels sorry guys here words.
The spec D fitted the bill, love the leather interior gives car and extra bit of class!!! Also don't get branded as a boy racer although I probably am.

Yeah I know a bit sad! Got them from Halfords Ripspeed I think look cool though water is sprayed in stead of jetted. a good colour match with the crystal grey.

Also, dones anyone have problems with the car kit via the stereo? I have a Nokia N95 and keep getting "Error-80" a few seconds into a call?

Advice would be appreciated.

I've had an N95 since December 07 and not had that problem so I can confirm it works.

I've also been using an N95 8GB for the last month and all is OK as well other than when trying to pair it with my wife's TomTom on holiday in Italy and it kept pairing with the TomTom and dropping the Panasonic - luckily not too many calls whilst on holiday. Had to delete the TomTom connection and it is OK again.

So much fun in Italy with the lunatic drivers thinking it is a "normal" saloon

Thanks, it's an 8gb I've got, will yours connect if you hide the phone's bluetooth once paired? I have to leave the phone as "show to all" to make them pair for some reason. If it carries on I think I'll get the unit changed.

Mine was also at the McRae Gathering, though not everyone would realise mine is a Spec D as it has always been rather less 'D' than standard!

Not too dissimilar to mine when I bought it, if you remember.

Mine is now getting more D than the D... well, kinda!

Yes I do remember! I saw your car at Scooby Shoot Out this year I think but you were never near it when I wasn't watching my car going round the Handling Circuit.

Mine is even less 'D' now as it has STi foglight covers on through the summer. Mind you it does now have a relevant registration S9EKD which might indicate to some what it started off as!

Sounds a good idea - do the foglights stay in place or do they have to be removed?
I'm to fussed about keeping the lights in place as they are next to useless and a pain to clean out.
