5:15am Meet @ Thurrock for a 5:30am Departure

 

not too bad then. i thought it was going to be a 4am job!

Don't get up that early for work, plus have to have a bit of a bufty before leaving the house.

Looks like a job lot of red bull in order

 

i have my bufty session planned plus i should have some new wheels and brakes on with any luck! the run down there should be good for bedding them in

 

 

Wake us lot up as you pass we wont be up that early staying nearby the night before. filled a travel lodge with scoobs in the car park

blimey! didn't realise it would take that long! i'll have to stop twice for petrol. RA gearboxes and fuel consumption don't go well together on motorways

 

its only about 150 miles....

thats an hour driving for most of us....

i had toyed with the idea of going on track but was advised against it due to it being my first track outing and quary corner (sp).

 

i would love to go on track buuuutttttttttt my wheels might get dirty lol

will have plenty of cleaning gear with me

 

I did my first track session at Japfest a few years back at Castle Combe , don't worry about it and just do it, it's great fun

 

perhaps if i have my new brakes fitted after all they are more track orientated

 

Also i did my first full track day at Castle Combe in the wet , it's a great track so as i said just do it

 

got to get the new brakes on first though mate. 2 pots and standard discs and pads are pretty shocking. even on the lightweight ra! no abs either. 330mm huge 4 pot kit should help sort things out though

 

 

great idea tiny. shall i sort? i have a couple of days off this week.

Colin McRae Tragedy

In light of the terrible news of the loss of Colin McRae, his son Johnny and two other family friends, the organisers of Rallyday will be asking everybody attending the event this Saturday to observe a one minute silence at 12:00 as a mark of respect.

 

What size do you want to go for? 1" thick?
