Nice blob eye by the way.
Skip to 1m 20s and listen to the hard acceleration, this is what sold it for me, just love the sound!

Plus now I have peace of mind with a top notch clutch & gearbox!

Remember, each to their own!

P.S, Am I now the fastest milk float in the North West?

Yeah, on that front we've been havin' a few thoughts. We're gonna try and cultivate an entirely Hebrew clientele.

Then they won't be able to come on a Saturday, without risking eternal damnation.

AND

if they do chance it they won't want the bacon rolls anyway.

Good Plan ??

When you get to Vail, say hallo to Tom Cruise and the gang for me. I hear the Beckhams are looking forward to meeting you too.

This is true by the way!

Forgot to mention, the new steering wheel really finishes the job off perfectly, doesn't feel like I'm driving a bus anymore, just a really fast milk float!

Default APi Keyrings

So how much do you have to spend with this APi lot to get a key ring??
Is it like a petrol vouchers scheme??

Just a thought as I've never had a keyring either.....only invoices.

David: With these on the car, 370 lbft @ 6000 rpm and a grippy AP Organic do you do sponsorship deals on a PPG??

Graham.

ps: Pete- I think I'm the wannabe in the first row of the Group of boy racers.

The straight cut makes the whining noise.

You can opt for semi helical which sounds no louder than your normal gearbox, the straightcut can withstand more abuse though, which is why I opted for it. And i like the noise

so what sort of power and abuse can each handle? is there a big price difference?
In my previous bugeye, I broke 2 gearboxes at 340ish bhp, my new one is currently at 330 and going easy, but if I wanted to up the power i'd want a gearbox to match. Any ideas on prices etc?

Best to speak direct to David re price, all i can tell you is he is very competetive

The straight cut and helical are the same price, the compromise is the noise factor.

Depending on power you may also want to consider a 6 speed conversion, also something API can help with

Graham,

First is going to be the problem on the start line. OR maybe a driveshaft. Are you allowed to squirt a little soapy water on the tyres before the start? That'll help get them spinning as total grip will surely break something fairly soon. No need to drown the tyre just a mist all around from a garden weedkiller hand held spray thing.

Worry about it when it breaks. But yes, we can sort you with a good deal on a PPG set up.

Keyrings are a gift after an engine build or a large bill. Because our bills are Sooooooooooo reasonable we don't get to give too many away.

Unless you are related to Mike Bellamy..................

Yeah but, what torks can the helical take? Cmon, we wanna know about torks man! And key rings???? I spent 6 million billion pounds and never even got a sniff of a bacon buttie! LOLz0rs.
Ere, i may have to start abusing my gearbox so i can force myself to get a new one.
Fancy having a Subaru and not being able to rag it. What made me think of that idea? I knew i shoulda saved for the STI.

Thanks David. Absolutly no chance of tyre prepping off the line.
Will have to change my starts to Grannie starts, but the hill climb isn't just about the drag start. That is 3 seconds of a 60 second race.

Sort of hope I don't see you soon!
ps: do you do a 3'' straight through 100 cell sportcat d/p for mine?

Graham.
