MY REPLICA WRC BUMPER PROJECT
Hello Hello,
Its been a while...
But i have to write that the car is in the body (work) shop,
for my WRC front bumper
It is a WRC S7 replica bumper, what they made for street cars...
because it has no hole's for the turn signal lights
so it had to be modified back to originel
out of the box...

Here you can see the parts that they have modified...

Then the first fitting of the front WRC bumper..

It is shorter... and wider...

To get a idear...

then we had to make it less wide and make it a bit longer on the sides,
but i didnt want the fog-covers touched, so made only the ends slightly longer... (5cm on top and 2cm on the bottom)
Also we opend the closed turn signal light holes...
so this was the next step...

the guys in the body shop also gave it a new decal..

This week it at the body shop.. made a few pic of my baby...

this is my hero at work..

with is project... a WRC S7 Replica bumper...

Look at the tarmac lip, that is what had to be longend..

Also we made a modifiction to the foglight covers for the turn lights...

next week it will be mounted on the car...
In the weekend of 2/3 februari i am at your country to fetch a WRC s7 replica Hood and Headlight bezels...
when these are fitted, the car will be spray painted en will have a S7 replica (except the wings)
will keep you posted???
Hoop you can reed my writing a bit...

What is wrong with this picture?
We welded a piece off metal in the hole, then there was a thin layer of filler to cover the un smooth parts..
The most off the filler is disapeard, because you grind the most off...
If i telling something studid
, we let the specialist talk!
Cheers.

Sorry I didn’t mean to upset you
All I meant was there is a lot of filler in that photo and being a specialist myself. I would of tried to keep it more local (as in not fill it halfway down the wing)

If you are such a specialist
, you had notist that the car has a front damage (look at the hood) also the left front wing had to be modified back to orginal, it was bend a little..Also i am not upset
