In my old local there was an old (68) farmer that was a regular. Big chap but fit for his age. Now I've seen a few drinkers in my time but Farmer Keith....... Always claimed to be broke but owned 600 acres of Surrey

I was in there one evening and Keith has popped in at lunchtime and decided on a few light and bitters. He stayed on until around 2 am when his son came to collect him. The Landlord kept a case for the empty lights and Keith had gone through 42 of them

The thing about Keith was that he didn't care. He had lost his wife some time back and if he had dropped dead in the pub then fine by him. I remember him telling me that he had been for a health check and the nurse asked him how much he drank. "Oh about 20 pints he said" to which she said "Well that's within your weekly limit, so that's fine" to which Keith replied "No that's what I have most evenings". Always made me smile that one

Not as many as I used to be able to drink, but I can probably manage a nice round 10 of your average cooking lager over the course of an evening/night. In my drinking days I could have managed the same amount, but stronger stuff (Stella, Kronie)

I think I've done around 13/14/15 before (all dayer) but really wouldn't be able to remember exactly, so I've no idea how anyone could remember 15-20+ !!!!!

I'm (a thin) 14 stone.

I find it quite pleasant actually

as for myself... I can quite easily get through 2 bottles of wine, and just be starting to feel a bit squiffy 1/2 way down the 2nd bottle !

quite rare i drink lager if we're in the pub now ( not often we go out to the pub)... but once over could easily get through a good 8 or 9 pints

 

i think im actually an alcoholic lol

if im out on the **** to pub etc ill have a few pints then too bloated so onto the vodkas and jack daniels, i have to have atleast a double i only like strong tastes, quite easily sink 6 or 7 doubles and a few pints in one evening at the pub


if were having a **** up at home i can quite honestly demolish my way though a bottle of vodka or atleast 3/4 of it, i have before done a whole bottle on more than one occasion

as i mentioned i like strong tastes so my fav beer is tenents super , makes me feel like a tramp on a bench lol but i do most nights sink 2 or 3 of them, occassionally having a few days without a drink

as i say i think its time for me to cut down a tad lol

 

i feel wasted after 4 pints nowadays

i can remember hitting the local pub when i was 17/18 knocking back 10 and then going to the chippy for a pizza with no ill effects

its all going downhill

My mrs old fella goes out every afternoon and downs 6 pints of carling THEN
when home he drinks a slab (24x440ml cans) of carling !! and i got to be
honest he dont even sound pi$$ed !!

I went out not so long back drank 10x330ml bottles of stella, went round the
local and had 6 pints of stella walked home tripped and broke me ankle!!
so thats my limit !!

 

four pints at tops. 1 bottle of wine at tops - usually feel very hungover then next day.

 

9-10 pints for me wrecked the next day though

 

I drink a lot less than I used to (probably about once a month or 2), but when I do go out now I usually munch my way through about 8-10 pints before i'm bloated and have to hit the spirits.

I remember back in the days of the anual lads holidays to the Spanish/Greek islands. Me and my mates made it a thing to drink at least a 4 pint jug of Vodka and Redbull each (4 cans of Redbull and a bottle of Vodka) before hitting the main town, where we'd carry on lining the shots up all night. After doing that for 14 nights on the trot it took longer to get over the holiday than the holiday itself, lol!

have not had a drink since Sept 2003 so i would say 2 or 3 pints and it would be game over

back in the day it was 40-50 over the weekend (checks liver to see if still there and/or working)

 

I generally get through about 4 pints then move onto bottles and shots on a night out. A lot depends on how long the time period is that the pints are drunk over, and if the evening has involved a meal earlier on!

On a pub night finishing at 11 I'd be well hammered on 5 pints, but if its a longer night and might involve going to a club I could drink 6-7 I suppose, and Im not a big drinker.

 

pints 0 if i ever drink its shorts and then prhaps 3-4 max.

Well i decided to try out an experiment & i am reporting back with my findings.

Tuesday night at the football i had 8 pints of the new tennents lager & a couple of JD's ..... thank *** for bannisters as i wouldnt have got up the stairs without them

Tonight i hobbled down to the local & i have had 8 pints of Stella, 4 JD's & i am sitting on my 3rd bottle of stella since being in the house.

I think i will report back in the morning my results.

 

depending what im drinking it varies. if it was at my old local in scunny (alcazar may know of it) the sherpa, if you could drink 7-8 pints of their strong "ayingerbrau" german stuff, thats over 7.5% from the pumps, you were a hero. never got that far, but the night i nearly did i had a 10 minute argument with a lampost, whcih ended up with me vomiting all over it.

normal beer, like carling, fosters, about 8-9 and im 13st 5"6 tall, stocky build, slight gut. but recently ive had a thing for tequila coke and lime all mixed in a glass. few lagers then move onto the caffiene rocket fuel. either that or do what my mate did two weeks ago and top up my pint of carling with 6 shots of tequila. i swear i was halucinating.

i might have a mortgage and a ****ty diesel, but im a normal 22 year old

Hardly any these days. When I was a teenager a bottle of jack on the way to the pub when I got bad and at my worst I lost my vision theough alchohol poisoning whihc was cool and scarey and that was after 1 ltre of 86% proof buron, 1 litre of ouzo an bottle af malibu and 8 pints of gaymers. Never drunk like that again but still drank far too much developing a sotmach ulcer in my late teens !

Most pints I've managed was 14 pints of snakebite and black which was messy and your sick sort of glows pink !

Being a bit older 5 or 6 is my limit these days. Can still sink the odd bottle of Jack in the right mood though

Apparently I was in Dublin for a stag but I cannot confirm or deny that .

 

18-22 were the golden years for me, I used to be able to drink 15 pints and still crawl home. Now I cant have more than 8 or 9 before Im in hangover hell the next day.

In my early 20's a quiet night in would be 10-12 bottles of Newcastle Brown, 15-18 if out on the lash.

Now 6 is pissed, 8 wasted. But I've never had a hangover.

 

For a friends 21st b'day we drank 21 pints. OK, it was schmeineken and managed 23 and a few Jacks'. Drank ourselves sober.

Bit of a bender last night:
4 bottles of Carlsberg export, 3 pints of stella, 2 glasses champagne, jack D and coke then back to mine for cocktails, which was 4 very large B54s.

Today has been a write off

 

midweek night out in the local 6-8 pint
saturday night out with her 12- 14 [she looks ok after 6 though ]
alldayer 930 am - passing out cant remember

 

I drink more on my lunch break than half of you p00fs.

8 Pints yesterday and a double vodka and redbull...saw me falling asleep in the pub @ only 5.30 although i did get there at 12... home and in bed by 8 last nite and still feeling rough for it now i wish i could handle it more or to not get the hangovers would be
