erm no mate, as my car takes about 17 secs to reach 60. so guess what i dont drive like a **** anymore as my car is too slow. if you notice 1,000 odd of my other posts you will notice i had a wrx before engine failure became of that. even then i wouldnt race the corsa/punto/saxo "cru" as it wasnt worth the time and petrol useage on **** poor chav mobiles. i had a flutter now and again against real cars with similar performance... not bad for someone with less than 1 year driving experience.

as for newbies, if they try wind up or spoil "our" forum, you must expect retaliation.

viva la scoobynet...

p.s. just noticed you have good grammar and punctuation for a newbie. congratulations, you are now my god...

Hey, The question i want to know has GC8 ever owned a Scooby or does he just stick his head in researching the model back to front and giving Scooby owners grief in having a loud exhaust, Dump valve, driving past speed limits.

If he had he would know whilst owning one you just cannot help yourself in giving it some stick now and again. Especially when a higher class and value car comes along and gives you the dirty look. The butterflies in the stomach first come along and then the adrenalin rush is boom. Awesome.

And yes before you say i do go to Elvington, York drag strip, etc, to get that rush everytime but still its never enough. Just can't help myself even though i only have a scooby, but it F**king ace. I only do Long straight roads and dual carriage ways as last thing i want is someone pulling out on me or running across.

Keep it Safe and Enjoy It.

That`s ok.

You can be my new Bitch, now go clean the Brake Dust off my wheels and if you`re lucky, I may take you for a ride in my Car. Just to let you remember how it feels

I`m with you mate this GC8 bloke is a right know-all.

Reckon he`s got a 1.6 Focus (Automatic) but just likes to read up on all things powerfull.

Just don`t ask him about Tellys FFS

110mph is far from unsafe in the correct conditions, just like 30mph is very unsafe in other conditions.

Give the guy a break, and everyone stop all this "You drive like a tw@t" political correctness bollox. We buy powerful fast cars then berate someone for driving fast.

Lets all hope the government brings in GPS tracking that will fine then ban anyone going over the speed limit, or better still lets hope they introduce the black box that controls the cars speed. Can't wait

Shame really - this had all the hallmarks of a great thread, but we're only on page 4, and it's running out of steam because the stupid have been left to dicuss GC8's virtues between themselves.
Nobody seams to have the literary savvy to keep this going (personally, I'm actually working for once, - a rarity in itself! Otherwise I would gladly oblige)....

So I beg of the intelligent Scoobynet members (ther must be some online at the moment)... PLEASE contribute to this thread, we need to keep it alive and throbbing/festering like some dirty puss-filled spot!

yours hopefully,

Dan

You have to Engage your brain for it to work, that does not sound healthy mate. See a doctor mate and tell him you are a Keyboard warrior with plenty of posts on scoobynet but still you need to engage your brain. He will give you a prescription of a new Burberry cap. That will sort you out.

Right, need to start working now as cant spend all day replying to keyboard warriors as i have scooby running costs to pay for. I wish i had a diesel 106 now so i could sit here and play all day.

See ya later Burberry warrior. Sorry Keyboard warrior.

lol you call that playing. for your information i work nights, so you pop back to your burger flipping minimum wage job sunshine. and remember every sentence doesnt require the word mate in it, especially when i dont socialise with your kind... enjoy your thrashed early wrx import (no offence intended to those sparkling examples on here that are owned by genuine snetter enthusiasts, not cheap thrillseekers...)

Lol, the usual suspects are still probably signing on. Its not like the have a wife/girlfriend/family to fill their lives so i'm sure itl be at least a 6 or 7 pager by the time i finish work tonight.
Until then there's a little argument between 2 users that will keep it alive.....Enjoy!

I didn't post your whole thread as it was barely legible.
You watched another driver act like a muppet and thought you'd do the same in retribution - Makes you the same surely?

Why not just take your foot off the loud pedal rather than use the handbrake?
Or is trying to cause an accident make you feel like a big man....

So 110mph on any road in any condition is unsafe, and you'd be driving like a Tw@t then

Wake up and smell the roses you moron.

Same **** different day.

What sort of road did this take part on?

I know it's dual carraigeway but that could mean anything.

Fair play tho for admiting he uses the car for what it's designed for unlike some people on here.

And top marks for the GC8 posts real mature they were.
