Just a note for you guys that want a Prodrive logo. I remember a while back that Scott Lowe got into trouble for selling flaps with the Prodrive logo due to Copyright laws. Wouldn't want the seller to get into trouble with Prodrive's lawyers.

I think some folk got round it by buying plain flaps and sourcing their own Prodrive stickers from elsewhere.

Easier way to get round it is they where on the car when i bought it so they can't do sod all about it!!

They need to prove he actually put them on for them to get him for copyright laws!!

 

Fair enough, but this is a group buy thread for people purchasing the flaps with the stickers on, so there is the proof they need that they weren't already on the car.

The point isn't that they will sue the purchaser but they will sue the seller for using their logo.

 

they're being advertised (quite explicitly) on Ebay and have been for a long time now. Ebay have copyright infringement procedures and have moderators on there to check copyright issues.

Why then is it that its okay on EBay and not here ?

I've sent him a few emails regarding a logo I wanted doing.

He's not been in touch for days...

Any chance the group buy starter could see if he has received my email and logo, I changed it to .eps for him and sent it, then two further emails with .jpg's

If he can't do them that's ok, I'll stick with prodrive logo, but I'd like to know so I can pay...

 

Leerjwd - He's having problems with his broadband at the moment as he's changing Premises. The changeover was due around the 17th (Friday), perhaps he's ran in to problems. I'm still waiting for a reply to a question that I have sent late last week. He usually gets back to people quickley, so I'd imagine that this is the problem. Give him a couple of days and I'm sure he'll get back to you!
