Remember if we can get 20 people then we can save a little extra. I'm now emailing suppliers in the UK to try to negotiate an UK price more in line with buying them direct from link new zealand.

I have just heard back from the first UK supplier, the lowest price they will offer is £120 including VAT and delivery to your door. They have them in stock in the UK ready for delivery right away, but said that if the number dropped below 15 then they would have to increase the price to £123 per unit. This is the only supplier to have them in stock in the UK and realisticly unless we get 20 the lowest price possible would be £114 from new zealand so I think its a pretty good deal. I'm still waiting on the other UK supplier, ill post information as and when they get back to me.

I have just had word back from the second UK supplier who quoted me £120 delivered to your door for 15, but he will have to wait on stock from new zealand(will order them as we pay). I have asked him to lower his price given we will have to wait but as it stands our options for 15 people are:

<15 £123 delivered and in stock in UK
15+ £120 in stock and delivered from the UK.
15+ £114 direct order to link N.Z, 2 week delivery + time taken to sort payment at start.

Unless the second UK supplier betters his price then I would favour £120 in stock from the UK.

The Second UK supplier cannot better the £120 in stock and delivered price.
So we have a final price of £120 delivered to your door and in stock in the UK. We need 15 confirmed people to get this price, other than that its dealing direct with link NZ and bank transfers which I think was not all that popular.

So once again we need 15, GB will remain open until a 15th person joins:

With regard to new poeple joining the GB, you are more than welcome to do so as long as you agree with the terms of the GB and get your payment in on time wednesday 15th november 2006.

The Group buy will be with B.R developements.
They were very specific with the way they wanted the payments taken so everybody must agree with this who wishes to take part.
The final price is £120 incl VAT and delivery to your door. They will not send any units out unitl 15+ payments have been made, but they will not debit your card until the 15th's details have been confirmed.

Payment:
First I must provide them with a list of full names for the members of this GB. Please email me your full name and scoobynet ID to will.merrett@gmail.com with the subject as 'knocklink GB'
They would like payment to be made by faxing your full details off to this number:
0208 9484250

Once again please headline the fax with 'scoobynet knocklink GB'

The fax must include your full name and adress, full credit/debit card number, start date/end date, 3 digit security code, what type of card it is (visa/mastercard, credit/debit) and the name as it appears on the car. They can only deliver to the address the card is registered to. It wont hurt to place a contact telephone number on the end either just in case of any problems.

They will also accept details by email but this is not recommended as it is not secure.

When 15 payments have been collected the cards will be debited and all knocklinks sent out in one go via royal mail first class recorded delivery.

They would like all payments to be made by next wednesday (15th november 2006)

Please email me with any problems/questions with this arrangement, B.R are happy to answer any queries but would rather them directed through a single person rather than having the same question asked many times.

Yeah, would be interested to know about this .... bit worried about sending "sensitive" in formation to a fax machine, for anyone in the vicinity to view!?

Again, I won't fax my card details either. A desk/bin is no more secure than email

I'm waiting to hear from BR concerning phone payments but I am sure they will be able to work it out. As soon as I get a reply I will post instructions here.
After you have paid please mark 'paid' next to your name on the list.

I have recieved names from 12/17 so far so the 5 that have yet to email me with your real name (so BR know who has/has not paid) please do so asap.

thanks
will
