Cant remember mate!! lol...can remember someone in a learner driver car in the passenger seat waving, but didnt know who it was and wasnt a scooby!!! lol
Paul, API in Ufton use a guy from AES. He comes over once a week I think to do all the alarms and electrical fault fixes etc. My alarm was fitted by him before I even owend the car funnily enough. I have since used him to replace an out of date but bust siren and he was really good. I may have a number for him somewhere I will look if you are interested? Otherwise go via API. Only other suggestion (from experience, albeit a long time ago) is Clarendon Car Radio. They are in Leam on Clarendon St, by the Kee Lee chinese take away. Not call CCR anymore but they used to do raidos, Tracker and misc alarms etc. Used to be really good although not all that cheap. Dont know what they still do or of anyone with up to date experience.
Thats it from me!

Hey SuicideR, that's shocking mate! Did they fess up to doing such a Muppet job and sort it out or were you left to lump it?
Don't know SSI but then I am too old to be a Lax Power reader!
I did try once but I couldn't bring myself to park up and throw McD's **** all over the place... just don't get it
As I say I am old so probably missing the point...
Anyway, what about the place at the bottom of Leam just under the railway bridge up Brunswick St? I think they used to be round the corner along from the Hope Tavern. If its the same one I know one person who had a stez, amp and speakers fitted and they were impressed. Thats about all I know of them but its local.
My car has the original crap speakers in and I swapped the head unit for a cheap CD player. Sounds terrible and can't get any decent volume out of it.
Thing is I love the sound of the car so much I never care about the stez. First car I have had that I didn't give a t0ss about the stez

Clarendon Car Radio fitted my Scooby with a Cat 1 last May. Took most of a day to do it, but they booked me in very quickly, as the job was needed for the bl**dy insurance.
Not had any problems with it since, and it wasn't particularly expensive either.

Loads at API on Thursday - my 1st visit. Found David to be the top bloke everyone says but had to drag myself away from the cabinet of impreza goodies !!!
Clarendon is run by a bloke who worked there for the previous owner for years. Probably not the cheapest but I have always found them very helpful like when I lost the manual for my alarm, I called in and they opened up a new boxed alarm for me and took one out and gave it to me for free even though I hadn't had the alarm fitted by them !

Saw lots of Scoobs out over this weekend, too many to mention! Friday I was up in the Peaks (Buxton) and some fella in a green classic was driving round and round the town what seemed like all night. I had to shut my hotel window 'cus it started to get annoying. Funny coming from me with my NUR Spec R
Anyway, good news. My complaints about my squealing pig of a shed car being grounded are now over. I decided to fetch it out and make sure I wasnt going mad and imagining it when I last put it away. Backed it out of the garage and sure enough it made some horrible noise. I was going to put it straight back again when there was a bit of a clunk and then no more noise
Took her for a ride and it was fine
I recckon I must have pulled a stone into the brakes or somthing and backing it up caused to pop out. No idea how, the new pads are so close to the disk I can't imagine getting anything in there let alone big enough to sound sooooo bad
Oh well I can play with it now so all good and got to have a blast in the lovely wheather

Two spotted today (saturday).
Firstly, N reg WRX outside my house of all places - Saltisford Gate, Warwick. Couldn't tell due to the sun if it was DBM or black, but looked smart, FMIC too.
Secondly, P1 by Drive Vauxhall, thanks for the wave mate!
