I wonder if MSI are involved in a takeover at Upton Park ? !

Please bear in mind that we do not OWN these two. MSI are still their owners.
All that has happened is that they have moved from Corinthians to WHU.
Their situation at Sao Paulo was intolerable. The coach would not talk to them because they did not speak Portugese, they were attacked by fans, they had fights on the training ground, etc, etc. They just had to get out.
We will pay their wages but their registration will reamin with MSI which is a London based company.

Whats the deal do MSI own the registration of these players and they decide for whom and for how long they play for any one club ??

Surely no self respecting pro would ever allow that to be the case, no disrespect to W Ham and no sour grapes as I never expected Utd to sign anyone of the 250 players they must have been linked with, but when two of thw worlds hottest properties tip up at an unfashionable european club that could not afford to spend £40m + on their signatures along with the expected £50-70k a week salary, West Ham will not divulge any of the details, and even Arsenal Man u would probably struggle to buy and manitain those salaries you keep thinking this is a little odd.

Anyone got any concrete facts on the deal as some reports say the Tevez buy out clause was between £60-80m which is ludicrous.

It surely is the most amazing footy story in years.

I was shocked when I read this earlier today, it looks like they're at West Ham to "ripen" them up for Chelsea, we'll have to see. Either way, it should make for an interesting season...

Funki, remember these guys are coming from poor backgrounds. OK I cant understand their agents reasoning for letting them go where they have but its pretty clear MSI and their Syrian funder have their future lined up nicely.... WHU is just a taster.

It'll be nice to see a S.American make a real impact on us for a change.

WHU are paying them £40k p/week. To comply with FA rules, MSI sold their share in the pairs registration to West Ham yesterday. They have, however, reached an agreement under which the Hammers will have to sell either player if they receive an offer of £35m or match the fee themselves. Most of the profit would go to MSI.

Reasonable deal considering the profile of the players and the other clubs who were chasing them.

Hats off to TB i guess, although i reckon it could be part of a deal which see's MSI take over the majority sharehold at WHU, therefore we can have the players for season. Then let the big boys fight over them after a season, with who wants to spend the most.

Just as I thought then, this isn't football

And if MSI own a share in their registration, which they sold, who owns the rest of the share"s" ?? some business man in south america ? bizarre!!

Haven't read a tabloid today, im sure they'll be digging away, if not we'll have to just wait and see what happen at the end of the season if they have blinders

All said and done I'm really looking forward to seeing both play

err, very happy thanks.

we managed to get gallas who we very much need and want, from a bargaining position of a player who wanted to go. we are not able like chelski to write off a player (like they planned to do with gallas), so all in this is a great deal for us.

to get this deal where we don't end up any weaker, and chelski are no stronger, again from the sh*t position wew were in this is great.

to top it off, we get baptista who wenger plans to make into a vieira who can score goals, versus reyes who has consistently failed to deleiver regularly (and another who openly wanted to go - another bad bargaining position), I'm very pleased with the way our club have hustled.

oh and the best bit - we got rid of cygan !!

You crack me up.

Robert Huth: "almost suicidal" with worry that his move away from your club wouldn't happen.
