After you left i was approached by some bird to do an interview for a new car show going out on Sky , ( Cross between Pimp My Ride & Robot wars ) With 2 Car clubs competing against each other

It all sounded good until , I Was asked if i could do a few donut's / Drifting , Handbrake turns within the car park area

WTF Was she thinking With so many nice cars & Loads of people about , Or i guess im just getting old & a bit more responsible

I Did say to her if she / Her tv company were prepared to hire a track / airfield that we could get alot scoobs along to play for the camera , But in a public car park

Still PMSL @ Her calling my car the perfect " Pimp my Ride "!!! Oh & Trust Fulham71 for sending her over to good ole Tiny

Just a suggestion for the next one... tell me to shut up, but IMO I think holding it one level or two down would be better due to the car park being fully lit. I'm guessing everyone with neon-mad motors will disagree

I think the meet will move down a level the darker it gets.....and to make full use of the enclosed space.....

after u lot left it all went crazy, a skyline and jap import scoob started drifting and donuting was getting very crazy/dangerous.

Then a classic wagon started to try donuts to no availe, the driver was wearing a Pink ESC shirt!!!!

as soon as Lee turned up with his documents I F'd off

I wasnt impressed to say the least - I very much doubt Bluewater owners will allow us to congregate there again

Mark .. To be honest i had the feeling something had to happen , Im sure that the drifting round the car park has happened before , Judging by a few conversations i overheard last night

Fooking real shame on the Classic Wagon owner in a ESC Pink shirt , This is not acceptable @ this type of meet imho , I Have an idea who it was , Shame as it tars everyone with the same brush

Agree will be a shame if this meet gets stopped but to be honest may be an idea before someone ends up getting hurt / Cars damaged

the donuts and drifting is usually done in the car park underground not where we all park up top, the guy in the skyline started doing a burn out on the spot next thing he's spinning and drifting around the entire area, missed my car by a few feet then me and john by the same sort of distance as we were standing by his car.

at least undeground there are no people or cars to be hit.

I know who the wagon owner is by reading back on this thread - not one of the old skool. He needs to be taught the ESC way - not the dark side :P

 

Wasn't me, far too busy being nicked in Rayleigh,

Ate lots off humble pie, etc and was let off with a warning for being a naughty boy!
