What about this for an idea on the group shot cover:

Whoever enters a picture and doesn't get selected gets to be in the group shot? That way everyone who takes the time to enter will actually get in the calender even if it's not a page on there own.....

Would just mean organising a shoot with everyone just after the 12 have been chosen.
