Flying the Flag.
Roped off beast.
Black Thunder girls having trouble with their pole.
Rolling Black Thunder.
At least two newspapers had a photographer there taking pictures (Echo & Advertiser) & shots were taken of the cars , Robs flames & of the Stealth Wagon & me sat in it plus details of the ESC were noted.I gave them details of the Posers Cruise as well,so who knows what fame awaits us.
It's a bit worrying when TWO Black Thunders put in an appearance & would have matched our embarrassing effort of just two cars (myself & Looie) until Rob & Mark doubled our numbers at the last minute (thanks guys) & supplied some damage limitation.
Fortunately the organisers were happy with our modest display & as they thanked us on leaving asked if we could come back next year.So all is not lost.
And for future reference ~ Rugby clubs with club houses often have a cheap bar.

guys, glad you had a good day....really sorry for my no show.....but slept through my alarm with a bit of a headache!!!!
