Maybe, but how much would a main stealer want for the same.... and bear in mind, the dealers know less about our cars than Triton do surely.........

It's bought and paid for and our prices are certainly NOT main dealer!!! £40 an hour labour cost doesn't compare with main dealer

Ah ok, not been for a couple of years so my apologies if thats not right. You serviced my scoobs a few times and was most happy. £40 p/hr is fine with me!

I would never use a main dealer on a scoob anyway Good news on securing Bob Rawle's services too, flying up and down the dual carriageway in Swindon always scared the pants of me

so what did people get?

I got on a later date 310BHP which was dispointing as mine is supposed to be around the 340-360BHP mark

Either the 3rd gear run (instead of 4th) was to blame or the heat retarding the ecu

Yeah I was about 40bhp down but the guys had some setup probs, I think with mine being RWD. Kindly offered to pop back for a free run though so will be doing that before long! Last run I had on a Dyno Dynamics was 208 at the wheels so around 250 at the fly.

Jacey, what mods do you have? Did you get a plot of the AFR and boost? They can be good tell tale signs.

Andy F 18G Turbo
Andy F remap
Full APS exhaust incl decat

Spoke to Andy and it should he pulling between 350-370BHP, 310 just isnt right, andy from triton said it was only hitting 1.38bar instead of 1.5bar as its mapped to do

Hmmm, interesting one.Mine was putting out 297.6bhp at Triton and boost was tailing off.Two weeks later I went to Powerstation to see if there were any probs, but it was running 324.9bhp and boosting correctly(1.55 bar). Both days were hot, although Powerstation had a fan leading directly to the TMIC,which was suggested this would make a difference.I'm sure people may want to debate this?
I have a Spec C with Miltek exhaust inc sports cat and remap so I was expecting around the 330bhp/320lb/ft of torque.
Obviously rolling road power figures appear to differ greatly it would seem on here.My main aim was to see if the car was running o.k (I have done this on the 3 impreza's I have owned to date)which both companies agreed on(fuelling etc)purely for the fact it is still under warranty,so I'm happy.
This is just a comparison as opposed to being unhappy with any company
I will use them both in the future,I'm sure......
Regards
Dean

Yep thats what andy forrest said when I called him, he said that they fan should be directed straight into the FMIC, on the triton run it wasnt, they have offered a free re-run but I wont take this up until the temps calm down a little

Hi Dean, must reply to your PM! Not forgotten

Jacey, Im not sure the fan could account for that much loss - especailly on mine being N/A. Im wondering if the figures were whp as mine would have been spot on then.

If yours wasn't hitting boost, the fan could be attributed (charge temps high) and 0.12 bar is a reasonable amount.

I imagine now the guys have had weekends of practice on using the RR any little configuration tweaks have been sussed out.

Im still chuffed we have a local RR now, so will be using Triton from now on

Yep Bmouth has needed a RR for ages, about time, as I say I will be doing another run when cooler temps are around, just to hot this time of year to get decent figures

What were your temp figures Jacey? They will be AIT / IT on the bottom of your chart.

No worries Mark. For the record it was suggested if air flow wasn't sufficient this could lose between 20-30bhp.Also grip with ref/tyre pressures, heat in tyres etc.
Still keeping the Honda then?

I could see that on a turbo but not on a N/A car like mine thats not dependent on air to an I/C to gain power. It still needs good airflow though.

The rollers showed no "slip" and I noticed they pumped the tyres up, but I recall them entering over 40psi on the RR software, not sure what calculation this will factor into the result though! Seem to remember seeing it on my graph.

Mine made 225 at Triton in 3rd gear, compared to 210 at WRC in 4th.

Does it matter on a n.a car what gear it's run in?

Mark,
Apparently on the DD rolling road they pump the tyres upto 50psi,on the MAHA rolling road they dont. The tyre pressures were more to do with the make of rolling road if I remember correctly.I'm not a technical person as you know,as long as it starts and go's relatively quickly that will do me
I'm sure someone more technical will be along soon...........
Anyone know what position the DCCD should be in on the rollers???

How are you doing Shane?

Fully locked on the diff - will get you better figures

Pretty sure pumping the tyres up just ensures all the energy is transferred to the rollers.
