Just ring Scott and ask him to send them out, I did just that on Wed and they were here friday morning, fitted in 10 mins, Scott was holding on to mine as it was only part of an order and was going to send it all at the same time.

Just called Scott and the New age ones were in stock but the rest of the classic order is due in next week.

 

the pics on the box say it all tbh

unscrew the bolt in the middle of the front wing - insert small end of damper in there and tighten

unscrew the outside bolt on the bonnet bracket and inset other end there and tighten

5 mins... job done

 

Have a look at post #200 on this thread....

 

oh and untwist existing bonnet stay from the little rubber bungy thing as this is not needed now (keep though in case you sell car and wanty to revert to standard )

.... and before anyone says contact them .... been there, done that!

Was told last Tuesday, it would be a week .... order still "pending"!

 

was told the same at the start of this week for the st st classic ones too, it would be much better to just say ' i don't know when they are arriving'

it's getting near on 2 months now

Dont think theres any point he will just fob you off by saying they will definitely be in next week. Then they still dont arrive. I have asked the question the same as lots of others have as well. Just glad I didnt pay with Paypal like I was first going to. Not so bothered now as the money hasnt been taken from my Credit Card. Do feel sorry for those who did pay with paypal though.

Got mine today....Fcuked my bonnet fitting em though Stripped the thread on one of the bolt holes.

So these are for sale now if anyone wants them. £60 with free delivery...
All complete still boxed new.... No Damage to the dampers just my bonnet.

I will send them straight out after payment. No waiting for 2 months.

 

Almost did this to mine - I swapped two of the bolts over and it sorted it - might be worth a try ?

Oh, and the carbon covers slipped off too !! glued them back on though and their still ok.....

Thought I was the only one with sausages for fingers

mine have arrived but i have noticed that the strut is extremely tight i cant even compress it !

 

put it on the car and it will work fine
