i know Scott has been very keen to get the stock in and out to all concerned but had been let down by his supplier - the products are superb though.

if anyone sees anything else of his that they would want a GB on let me know

guys don't think its just the groupbuythat he is not sending kit to, I have had some on order 1 week before the gb started and still not had mine, I ve delbt with Scott a few times before and never had any problems

hope people don't think this is the way Scot normally treats his customers as it is not

recieved my carbon ones today

absolutley useless though

way too strong for my bonnet and they can't even be depressed when pushed down with my full weight onto a work bench

anyone elses this strong or have i got a dodgy pair??

phone call to Scott and a refund in the morning by the look of things

Once you mount them it'll be a different story, I could'nt push them down either when I recieved them.

Once I mounted them on they worked fine, weird eh...

I have a carbon bonnet by the way.

well i fitted the one and it wouldn't budge at all, i didn't want to fit the second in case they needed to be sent back and i thought that with two on = twice as strong, and the bonnet would get damaged before they moved. It was flexing and not sounding too healthy with just the one

lightweight, flimsy as **** carbon bonnet for me too

gjam - they were never gonna work with your bonnet as per the post earlier in the thread - the carbon bonner for the classic is not heavy enough.

OK first off i am not blaming anyone at all

this has been a great group buy, and the quality of the dampers are unbelievable

my mate at work has an Astra GSI with some fitted and the Scott Lowe ones are in a completely different league.

going back through the thread, it was only mentioned that there may be a problem with jdm alloy bonnets and possibly carbon ones.
I talked to Scott when i ordered them and he believed they would be ok.

I think the problem is down to the fact that i haven't fitted both of the dampers, for fear of any damage or marks that may be picked up and the problems this may cause if they need to be returned.

I've since had an email from Scott (top service

)and i'll have a go at fitting both tomorrow after work, and see what happens from there.

Apologies if my earlier posts came across badly, i've had a long day and the dissapointmet with the dampers obviously didn't help

cheers once again to both Scott and Dynamix for the group buy
