So could you turn this unit to off and bypass the boost monitoring without causing any damage or strange results?

 

I've just been reading through it all again, you have said the car drives slow, doesn't want to rev much over 3k and boost gauge is working for negative pressures and a noise from the exhaust.

Maybe a Cat has colapsed blocking the exhaust??

Hi, It revs the full range but at a non turbo'd car pace (just) the higher the revs the more audiable the dump is. The exhaust is just slightly loader than usual.

Found and fixed the problem, it was the clip off the waste gate, I'm sure they will correct me if I've got it wrong.
