Just got a PM from Al @ WRC Technologies:

Hiya
Regarding costs. I propose the following:-

12 cars minimum reqd to run an RR Day

12-20 cars @ £45 inc vat per car

21-30 @ £35 inc vat per car

31+ @ £30 inc vat per car

Prefer cash to any other form of payment please.

In order to ensure the numbers who say they are coming, actually come and everyone benefits from the pricing. I suggest a deposit cheque of £10 per attendee sent to ourselves 14 days prior to the event.

If we get 25 + confirmed cars we can get a buttie van to attend.

Cheers

Big Al

£10 deposit is required

Deposits paid in BOLD

It is a big day at 30+ cars or so, it is therefore important that we have as early a start as we can i.e. 1 on rollers, 1 in workshop waiting to go on, 2 in our compound. In order to get through them all we need to run the 1st car as close to 08-30 as we can ! We can get through 5 cars per hour, once we are into the swing of it. Ideally a bog standard 03 plate or newer STi as 1st car up would be great, this sets the benchmark on BHP for the day.

To ensure we get through the full compliment of cars on the day including some breaks for our guys, a little bit of advice to owners where requested etc, it will be necessary for owners to ensure that prior to the car running they have checked all of the essential fluids [oil & water] and tyre pressure guages will be avail for you to check that all of your tyres are set at sensible pressures that are equal by axle.

Regards

Allan

Sorry people, no more cars as it's now full, if anyone else wants a possible place, please put yourself down as a reserve.

I've taken Betts and myself off the list as we won't be running, list ammended.

Just got a PM from Allen, would anyone be interested in some tasty gear?

Hiya
We are not "traders" on Scoobynet just yet. Shaun has offered us a good deal to get us on board but its still a while before we can afford it. I would be grateful if you could help me on one thing though.

We are selling our Spec C a 53 plate 2003 car with 13k on it. I was asking £19495 with 12 months warranty but have decided to sell off the remaining trick bits and reduce car to £15,995.

The bits are advertised over on WR1 forum:-

1] Exe-tc fully triangulated front strut brace rrp £395 + vat. avail @ £250 inc vat.
2] Exe-tc full WR04 suspension rrp £2750 inc top mounts + vat+ install + alignment [+- £3700]. avail @ £1800 inc vat installed with your suspension in exchange. Ideal for track days.
3] Carbon prop shaft rrp £840+vat + install. Avail @ £625 installed inc vat.
4] AP 6 pot front brake kit with new DS2500 pads. rrp is £1800 installed inc vat. Avail @ £825 installed inc vat with your brakes in exchange.
5] Chassis brace kit. rrp £1100+vat+installation. Avail @ £500 inc vat

If you could circulate this among the dyno day attendees would be great

Cheers

Allan

Do you mind if a Non Scoob has a run..

Went to WRC a couple of months ago, and my car was poorly so didn't get any good results.

Hoping i've got everything sorted and just want to get some figures..

I know i'll probably have to wait til the end as the Road will be set up for you Boys.. But that in't a problem
