the last part of the route
*Leave PP services heading south towards Brighton
* Leave the A23 at the Hickstead showjumping exit, driving over the A23 into a village called Sayers Common ( B2118 )
* Continue on the B2118 entering the village of Albourne
* Drive through Albourne until you reach the T junction with the B2117
* Turn right onto the B2117
* Take next left onto A281
* Continue down A281 for about a mile when you should reach a mini roundabout
* Over mini roundabout onto Saddlescombe road...
This is the road that then takes you over Devils Dyke!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* After the fun part you will arrive at a roundabout for the A27 go over it and
Over the A27
* At the next roundabout take the first exit ( Mill road ) caution road narrows at
the bottom,
* Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto A23 towards Brighton ( London road )
Stay on this road caution speed cameras
* After speed cameras follow road round to the left and then to the right,
Helpful hint it opens up to a dual lane road from here to city centre
* At Fire station go left onto A210, stay on this road, this road goes to the
Seafront, again dual lane,
* follow the 2 lanes down to the Pier!
* At the pier take the 3rd exit of roundabout again 2 lanes
* Travel along the seafront for 500 yards, turn right towards Churchill square
Shopping centre,
* car park is 2nd road on the left
* when in car park head straight on and await instructions

Thanks Buzz for the remainder of the route plan. Can those with satnav try and set the waypoints, those without READ THE PLAN.. if the worst comes to the worst just follow the signs for brighton and we'll meet up on the pier at some point.

Remind me friday morning and I'll print a few off......... unusually I'll be in the office this friday.
It's likely that we'll get split up going over Devils Dyke. If you're near the front then remember to slow down and let the others catch up, If its possible then pull over for a bit, it would be nice to cruise into Brighton together.
If you are near the back remember to keep on the walkie talkies to let the others know where you are. Shout out landmarks etc......
We'll have an nice tight cruise down to Pease Pottage please, no need to race down there..

discovered that this is the last day of the Brighton festival so there could be plenty of things for people to do while we are down there.
Also, looking at the forecast it looks like it will be SUNNY
