Thumbs up

Steve,

Barrysworld are sold out at all player levels, I've clicked for notification of their 12 player jobs (the cheapest) when some more are on-line.

Ideally we need about 20 people paying a fiver a month. There is no way we would all be using it all the time, so I think that everyone would get a look in with that.

To fund it everyone can buy 500 Barrys and transfer them to the main Barrybank account.

Wink

yeah i checked sometime ago on BW - i put in a request on the 16 player servers cos i felt 12 was not enough.

i was aiming for 10 minimum given current numbers arriving for [STi] sessions.

more will be a bonus and bring the price down more towards £5 than £10 !!

talk l8r Bazza to sort Ultima ? get your icq on m8.

Cool

puff : he has offered but he does not know what sort of spec needed to run CS nor does he have knowledge in running it.

i'm trying to track down info to pass to him and have given him very brief details. also would need to know more about the admin side of a CS server myself and what i would need to know to do stuff remotely or what i would need to pass onto Lee to do.

i've just been a bit busy with job interviews etc that i've not had much time.

cheers

steve

Glad someone else has got their thinking cap on!!

Cast your mind back to when we were just starting to get on-line & play CS... Who was the kind soul who had access to a work server that had CS on it & allowed us to play? Unfortunately every time I went there, no-one else was. I do remember a time when I think you & Deano or poss Gis-A-Job were "training" me in how to play/walk/shoot/duck etc Can't remember who or where... Can you?

Puff, I know the server you are talking about. The server was only recently removed from my CS list due to it never got upgraded to CS 1.3 so I couldn't connect to it any more.

If I remember rightly the password was along the lines of merryXmas. Does anyone know who hosted that server?? Wasn't it Neal?

Tooty Boy - Its worth remembering performance may be worse across the board at the moment because its half-term and the little treasures haven't got enough homework to keep em occupied - so they clog OUR Internet

Hopefully I'll sort you guys out with a server and admin rights, such that you can do what you like. I don't play atm, cause I was errrr trying to free up some disk space on my lapdog.. and HL/CS doesn't work anymore. I've since removed it. At some point, when I've got more time and got fed up with GT3 reinstall.

I'll be back in touch.
