Hanslow!

This is an official SIDC day which means the track is exclusivly hired to us, you do not have to be an SIDC member to turn up and watch. Its free to watch and normally £10 for passenger signing on which means £10 for any passenger which can ride in any car (Owner Permitting)

Great place to put faces to names as you won't be able to miss me LOL I would join the SIDC if I were you as the discounts and exclusive track days are worth the privellage.

Hi Peeps.
Due to unprecedented demand, the initial web allocation has gone!!
I have reserved 10 places for non-internetters who will be receiving a flyer next week. Any remaining places after 1 week will be released to those people on the reserve list, on which there are presently three people. You will still be required to send payment, which will be held until a plce is confirmed or returned if not.
If you want to go on the reserve list, mail me asap.
Regards.

Stef.
PS Have you all seen the date we have at the amazing Croft circuit? 25% of these places have already gone as well!! Without an official announcement!
Animals.....the lot of ya!

Question

Stef,

What's the ruling on track days? I'm not yet a member of SIDC (still considering) but would like to turn up and watch (rather than race/drive round the track).

Is it free to turn up and watch
Would like to meet a few people from around the area ( and beyond )

Thanks for the info Harj.

Just done my subscription to SIDC whilst at TSL for some extras

Will pop over to Donno then to put names to faces and see how people have changed the basic scoob.

First time at a track day event / club meet so will be completely new experience for me

I'm in. And as always, willing to take passengers.

Harj, if you and me can fit in a RS200 at the same time, I wouldn't mind a ride

Stef,

Thanks for your prompt reply to my last e-mail. I'll get a cheque in tonights post as suggested and hope to get on the reserve list.

Harj,

If theres any chance of being a passenger in the RS200 (or the 22B) for a lap I'd be most grateful!

Cheers,

Ian.

Stef, you will NEVER be conservative on a track. You just not happy until you've visited the out-field!

Thats unless you've been told to calm down?

So all that gym stuff your wife bought, and you said you'd NEVER use. It's going to come in handy after all.

Dan

Look here....http://www.sidc.co.uk/events.htm

Craig.
CK1 is always available for rides, although it's my first time at Oulton and I'm somewhat more conservative than I used to be.

I thought I'd replied?
Still, you're in so fret no more.

Danny.
It may sound strange, but I've only actually gone into the gravel whilst attempting (and failing!) powerslides, never once through 'normal' driving.
Now that I am 30, and therefore a mature adult, I no longer have the desire to slide everywhere......unless it's wet!
Seriously, you won't see me in the gravel again.

Stef.

Question

Is there going to be a block insurance policy on offer for Donnington, or do we have to sort our own thing out?

Question

I want to come and spectate at Donno, what time should I be there?

Can anyone possibly give me directions?? I think it's north up the M1 from where I am.

I enjoyed Oulton Park so much and I would love to go on the track again at Donno, but I'm skint so I will have to settle for the spectaters stand and maybe a ride in a P1 if someone is willing?? I want to be scared!!

Tim, how could I forget Dono back last March.

I think I am still the only person to have 'PARKED' side on at Coppice, with Pat coming around the corner at full chat!

I also remember a poor lad in the morning, his first track day. He was almost crying/climbing to get out of the car after spining at McLeans, with a nice EVO 6 right behind us! Sorry Andy B.

Still I have done a few track days now, and now seek advise as soon as poss. when on the track. Second time around I might be a little better at Dono......

Dan
