Looking at #692: How do you blow a vac pipe off? Is it being vibrated/knocked off?

Good luck to all on sunday.

Graham, its called a shed load of bost and no cable tie on the vacuum hose.

Hopefully that has now been rectified.

Front spolier is finally on, track wheels are on with the D01J's on. Road wheels have gone with brother in law for the new tyres putting on.

Car is going for full alignment/geometry setup tomorrow morning

It needs a bloody good clean, and thats it!

Looking forward to sunday

steven, david wallis

best of luck for tomorrow.

I think for the first few runs , your car should be running side by side , fighting for the "first one to the 10's" .

with any luck one of you will make the final against the blue one from scotland (that will hopefully have set another pb through the day) . who knows , he might fluff the launch and hand the title to a privateer

After all the hard work you've put in, you deserve descent results.

Will be scouring Scoobynet for videos and pictures from the event.....seeing as though I'm in bloody Angola!!!!

Have fun.........Oh yeah.....I said 90 for the intercooler was ok.

Lol, cheers for the pics Andy

Thanks to Shaun (ScoobyNet), Chris Mann (Ten of the Best) and Wills (Scoobyclinic) for the prizes and trophys.

I was so bothered about not having the pi55 taken out of me for wearing a "trout" shirt, i forgot to put my trainers on instead of the work shoes

The boys have been drag racing down the track to the field, one on the push bike, tother on the mini quad, was hilarious.

Thanks for the loan of the gearbox Andy, without it, i wouldnt have been able to watch you pull away like i was stood still, i will remember that for a long time.

Steven

Blast from the past eh!

Well a little update, since the 2nd of July (ie Scoobyshoot out final day) the car has been sat gathering dust in a barn at my dads farm.

The reason? I broke another box, sadly it wasnt mine, so that was 3 boxes in 2 months!

I had to take a reality check on what i wanted to do, and what to go for, and with TOTB looming, i had to concentrate on that, getting the team to gel together, plus i had to help build the engine for the Lateral car ready for the 30th.

Thats all gone by now, and the season is almost over, and only last week, the car went back onto four wheels in the barn, it was missing rear suspension for the last month or so.

It still needs a box, and a few other things, but box is in hand, full PPG Dogbox, as they sorted the replacement synchro stuff out, so cant knock their product backup.

Going to have a crack at the dog box myself, once thats in, i can then work on setting up the oil cooler kit which i have had all year. This is needed for track work, which it will do over winter and next year.

Then its a case of sorting a catch can, that returns the oil to sump, and it should be good for lift off again. I am actually wanting it on the road ATM, so i guess i need to make some progress. This is largely due to seeing it in the Subaru supplement of the Japanese Performance magazine, and it reminded of how cool the car was (in my eyes).

Cant post pics atm, but will try soon

Steven

I get like that every time my car is being worked on and therefore out of action.

Where's the rear suspension?
