And Wallis does a LOT of welding

Back to the project.........

Well done Steven, and all his little helpers. You've all put in a tremendous effort, and the car looks fantastic.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how it goes......

Steven,

It got to the point where trying to talk you out of it, was akin to hitting my head against a brick wall

Best I talk to your mother inlaw about next week

No problem Mark. If the B&B is full, you can stay at ours.

Had a slight problem yesterday, in so far as i the the PS pump was knackered. Trying to bleed it, the back of the pump blew off, blasting PS fluid everywhere

Been in work 2 hours already, trying to get things done, so i can get home early to fix and then try and map.

Steven,

If the back of the pump blew off, I'd suspect that there's more wrong! The circuit will almost certainly be protected by a relief valve of some nature and for the pump to blow apart, you're looking at a total failure of the protection circuit.

If I had my Impreza CD rom manual with me, I might be able to help more, but ......... sorry, I'm on the ship, offshore, Angola....no CD rom!!!

It is possible of course that the pump has built in protection and that could have failed, but it may be worth you double and triple checking your hosing, and interconnections, etc.

I will be spectating....
I will be in my nice quiet, calming, 40mpg Jaguar.....
That is because I have finished my car ages ago unlike a '2.5 guy' I can think off......

Surely to God, it must be finished soon?

Did 20 miles on the dyno. Had a few teething problems like a fecked alternator, couple of earth issues.

Sounds very sweet though, should be getting finished on Thursday.
