Well i will do my best. I am at Thruxton for a Lotus Elise driving day, so if the missus is not totally fed up with looking at cars, i will be down for a swift half.

Question

Dave,

Does that mean your infamous friend might not be able to make it?

How is Adrian going to cope!

Is the meet still on tonight for 7.15 at the Crooked Billet ?

If so, I'll try to make it down there too.

Just decided will probably get this ScoobySport downpipe as you can add a cat at MOT time.................

Now shall I ask the Subaru dealer to fit it..........me thinks could get a good reply from them......like if anyhing happens to your car even if its your boot catch not working then it must be the downpipe so no warranty???

Right now to ring them (anonomously)

too follow

J

Oh and by the way.......

Thanks to ScoobyJawa for his technical support in fixing the highly complicated rear locking mechanisim on my Scooby.......in the dark. I promise to actually try myself next time..

Now been in search of a downpipe...tried Halfords first and got a fitted price of £177. Then rang Magnex for availability, not in until Sept 15th..........

Must have downpipe, must have downpipe.....

Now having nightmares

J

Cool

lol@Jason!!! (and that isn't Lots Of Love Adrian )

Its a highly technical skill developed through years of practise, and made doubley difficult by having to do it in the dark while admiring a small Subaru logo sticker

Can't believe you've waited until this morning to post!!!!

Adrian - We still don't think she's your missus, you never got her to show us the ring, so we reckon its your sister - and the likeness is uncanny lol!!!

Nice to see everyone this time (I actually made it!!! thanks to following Mr W!!!) and nice to see a few new faces

(BTW - Dave still hasn't got a post up for the next meet he's not coming to can one of us beat him to it? I would, but don't know the place or where it is that we agreed on )

See ya
Neil

Jason good look in getting your downpipe I can't believe you actually held off until today to post! Hope you didn't have any nightmares about it!

Adrian, you sure have got a nice neighbour, if she is willing to come out and pick you up from the pub!

Neil, what happened to you on the way back last night, one minute you were there, and the next your weren't?!

I cannot remember if we agreed or disagreed about going to The Crispin, on the 20th for the next meet (Adrian, that's the one just off the "Jelly Bean" roundabout!! )?

Oh well, it was good to see you all again and the new faces as well, and I'm now off to Blackpool.

See you all later

Scott - I drove off inadvertantly leaving my phone, face off head unit on the dash and they went everywhere!!!! Stopped to plug in the stereo so we could have so tunes - and by that time you'd gone!!!! ( ....and I wanted to drive home and be able to hear my exhaust!!!!! lol - only joking!!) I must say, yours sounds sweet, it is soo much louder from lower revs

All

I couldn't believe it when she drove off out of the carpark last night - glad she came back. She only cost me £30 per hour as well, good job actresses come cheap.

Enjoyed last night, probably down to the Fosters! Had a few more when I got in.

Jason - I might be a bit late next time, what with having to drive up from Swansea!!

My new tyre arrived today which is good news - shame the mustard wheel has to go though.

I've spent all day today searching my car for "VERY VERY slight blemishes that are almost unnoticeable" for that bloke to say are "too big a job" for him!!

Anyway, see you all later - I'm off for a pizza. Still tempted by the Isle of Wight trip...I'm taking my imaginary wife to a hotel for a romantic night away tomorrow (dunno why I'm telling you all this, just trying to convince you she is real I suppose)

Love you all
Adrian
