scoobysnack, just to confirm what pete croney at scoobysports told me, you can replace the back box and the mid section (with cat) and you will not affect your warranty. subaru uk also said this. contact him via the web site -

Hope it's cheaper this time, I bought the Magnex backbox from Halfords on the way back to the office.

(Need to break it to my wife gently later though!)

Iain, I forgot to refresh and didn't see your other post. The price is £177.23 including fitting. Delivery is two weeks. Mines ordered.

You won't regret it, I got one about a month ago and it sounds excellent for just a backbox. Last time I came to the Thursday meet a few people were surprised with what its was!!!

The price isn't staying for long though, the guys said when I was in there it was for a v limited time.
BTW, they also told me two weeks for the order (ordered on Thurs) had a phone call on the following monday to say it was in so don't be surprised if it comes sooner.
Cracking bit of kit, nice low down grumble!!!!

 

Here..here. Certainly pleased with mine although when it first went on and the fitter took it for a test drive I was a touch concerned at the noise when I could still here the rumble 2 miles away, only kidding. Top exhaust..

Should have said - the offer at Halfords has just been extended, valid now until June 5th 2001.

It was introductory for the RipSpeed brand that some shops now stock.

These will be 423.00 incl vat and TNT delivery.

Many dealers do fit our downpipes, but it is unproven warranty wise.
