Quick note:

Anyone that hasnt had their wheels delivered..

Can you sign as Unchecked please..

Reason I ask, we have had one that TNT has damaged, and they dont like paying out if the wheels have been signed for..

Doesnt make a difference to you, as if it has been damaged we will replace, its just for the benefit of our pockets really!

Hi guys

Well like said earlier my wheels turned up today, and just got them home from work.

The quality is absolutely superb, even the packing with the hair nets shows the quality behind these wheels. The wheel nuts alone are woth a fair few quid, making the whole wheel package superb Nice one Julian

Thanks again simon I am pretty smitten today Well guys here what you have been waiting for

One wheel on my car

and it looks really great

You really cant get a feeling for the size of these rims!!

Anticipation!!!

well here you go

Well it is on the car....

I am sourcing my own tyres with rim protectors hence no rubber yet to get them on the car properly, but hey it is the first pic...

Thanks again guys brilliant GB

Good stuff..!

If you get chance pop one on the bathroom scales to compare to your standard rims.

Last year I nearly had a set of the anthrecite WR1/STI 'take offs' that were knocking around (225/45 17 RE070) but when I weighed one they were ~7kgs (IIRC) heavier than my OEM's (same as your wagon)... and that was per corner..! TOO HEAVY..!

These Rota rims seem very light from what's been said, just what I've been looking for..!

Can no longer resist, put me down for a set of 18" Gunmetal with polished face GRA's and 225/40 T1-R's (for 05 WRX).

I'll phone tomorrow, with a bit of of luck they'll arrive for the 12 month service at the end of next week and I'll get the garage to fit them!

Yes Stiver that is possible

I've copied this from the front page for you....

For the Group Buy the prices will be...........

With Toyo's T1R 215/35/18 or T1R 225/40/18 it will be £760

With Kumhos 215/35/18 or 225/40/18 it will be £640

That's a set of 4 fitted and balanced
All of these come complete with wheels nuts and locks included.

Anyone wishing to purchase just the alloy with no tyre the standard price is £515 but for the GB the price will be £380 for a set.
How is that for you ?

Simon

Well done scoobynoob.... I'll add you to the list now, just drop a reply on tomorrow and confirm your order for me please.... I can update my list then.

Personally I would fit them myself I don't trust many especially with wheels, it will pay you to buy a decent wrench and socket to use.. wrap some electrical tape around the socket to protect the rims

I'm due a service in Jan and when I book it I'll ask if the wheels have to come off... if the answer is yes then the 16's will go back on for the day unless they let me help them remove my wheels.... but I am a fussy devil with my property !!

I'm defo up for this but will prolly just get the wheels alone (still 18" Gold Tarmacs)

However, I've also bought an exhaust off a lad on SNet and I just want to make sure it arrives before commiting money to something else. I'm sure it will be OK but just to make sure.

At latest it will turn up mid-week next.
