I'm gonna have to get these odd tyres sorted out, I spent most of my time trying to keep it in a straight line on the M180.

I did have the diff control fully open last night so maybe that might have made it a little twitchy at the front, it felt like it was lifting a bit

if you had the diff fully open dt it would have made the back end twitchy not the front, maybe need some new rubber those eagle f1's stick like **** in the wet.

lee why would it make any end of his car twitchy? i dont understand why thats all? and with the diff being fully open , does that mean more drive to ither the front or back or is it an equal split?

Odd tyre tread patterns can cause some really bad handling, A few years ago a rally driver friend of mine had a Citroen BX GTI it had odd tyres on it ie same pattern on the rear and a different pattern on the front.

It just wanted to swap ends when he hammered it. The same make all round sorted it out.

My car has a different tyre on each corner.

I thought that with the diff being fully open (more power to the rear) it may have forced the front end to go light.

Hope that helps a bit Acko.
