if you take off you fuel line can you get fuel thro it turning over

still no joy with the car. ive checked all fuses and tryed the old ecu so far. NOTHING it wont even splutter! ive also removed one of the cam covers to look at the belt see if its snaped but thats fine

tomorrow im going to test the fuel pump. see if it squirts fuel then ill check the plugs for a spark on each one.

now then peeps,
my mrs went into tescos today for some petrol but no 99ron but they said they will have it within a month or as soon as the 97ron pumps are empty

Thats good news,

We can **** Shell off then and probably pay a little less.

Stu,

Try the basics fella,

It always used to help in finding the fault for me in the past, its either -

A lack of air getting in, or air flow.

A lack of fuel, pump, injectors, fuel filter, fuel line, regulator.

A lack of spark, plugs, coil packs, leads,

Im sure you know all this so ignore me if you do.

evening all,stu thats a bugger,gutted!im aving similar problems with the fiesta,its now got fuel where it shud ave but now the carbs blocked or something and still wont go for long,changed the pump,relays checked wires,just wasnt getting power to the pump,weird?!maybe its something simple like a loose connection,somethings un-plugged or summit when uve given it some stick?!hope its ok tho,especially wiv the job aswell,what a fooking day!hows the rest of u doing?

when braking hard,golf gets a little shakey,is that a sign of warped discs?

They are probably warped on the side that you sit big boy.

Anyone know of a good bodywork specialist. On way to work this morning down the coast road and left a pheasent in a sorry state but it also left the front skirt damaged. Went back and reversed over the t**t !!

i think its my fuel pump or a wire leading to it. removed rear seats and got vickie to turn the ignition so i can sit in the back and listen out for it priming. i cant hear a thing. D.T (or any one available) can you call me or pop round tonight with a multimeter.

nice1 fellas,its probably both sides as im a B.I.G lad!!!lol,thats ur dry fisting sorted then dt!no more ky for u!stu thats whats happened to festa,ran a power laed to the pump and it fires up no problem,if u do figure out what it is let us know as it might point me to the source of festa problems!im supporting the magpies 2nite!foooking hate chelski!!!!

Front skirt near the offside front fog. A mate is taking a look 2nite who owns premier coachworks but he has a lot on and I need it for next Tuesday.

Im stacked out till well into like 2 weeks
