did anyone else have trouble getting the bolt out on a new age when they were fitting the air pipe kit.. it took me nearly 40 mins to get the bugger out

didnt seem worth it after all that, as it does not allow much more movement than with it in.

Never bothered removing the bolt, too tight a gap to get a wrench in.
Simply took off the airbox lid and also polished the inside of the pipe and lightly wiped the the plastic with WD40 to make the silicone slide on easier

Supplied with Blue only I think

But you could always supply the red yourself

Go on you know you want to

I thought the ribbed section just allowed the original to bend to get it out

Had mine on for few months and no probs

Im paranoid so Im always checking everyting Ive touched but no worries with the air flow boot

On the instructions for the newage, it shows that you need to remove a bolt that fixes the air pipe to the inlet manifold. once removed it allows a bit more movement, as there is another small flexible pipe on the intake system..

Just for safety, i loosened the bolts on the airbox.

cheers guys, i thought the removal of the bolt was just to help get the pipe in, but what youve said makes a lot of sense, deffinatly that bolt needs to stay out.
ps, all the products i bought are bl@@dy fantastic, what a top group buy, and what a wonderfull company to do buisness with. cheers pete.
