Bring on BIG brother ... sooner the better!

Seeing as your average "pikey" doesn't even pay road fund licence or council tax at the moment, i find it hard to imagine how the government would manage to extract DNA or enforce ID cards on this section of society. Still, the law abiding citizens should be a push-over

mb

Disclaimer: The word "pikey" has been used in this context to represent thieving gypsy *******s, and not those nice quaint travelling folks who sell clothes pegs and give away four-leaf clovers!

For Christs sake will you stop debating off topic with this troll. I was about to post an update on the protest today, but you all suceed in letting him perpetuate repetivive kiddies banter on a very real issue. I'll start a new thread about the HUGELY positive results of today and all the broadcast slots achieved and points I and others got over in them...

Was it you Diesel who was on the TV with a Red Impreza sticking something on the bonnet??

To be honest, no-one gives a flying foooook about the protest ...... its a protest about the right to commit a crime without getting caught FFS - so, its doomed to failure wherever you post it!

Correction: YOU don't give a flying foooook about the protest, but someone must do otherwise it wouldn't have made national TV

Your argument is a rather weak straw man - the protest was a call for an independent review into road safety, because the current methods are failing to reduce road fatalities. An entirely honourable and noble cause I believe

No mine was the Audi next to it [memo to self: must take sticker off now - too many continuing nods of approval] but the owner did let me have a drive of that red Scoob; still love 'em

WHAT BOLLOX!!!!

If it was about what you say, it could have been carried out on any road at any time .............. amazingly it was on the stretch that has new Cameras!!

Grow up with your debating skills, I am too old to fall for any old crap!

It was a protest against the new cameras ... therefore it was a protest against getting caught whilst committing a crime!!

AND IT GETS VERY LITTLE SUPPORT FROM THE LAW ABIDING!!

Pete

The speed cameras are iconic of this governments failings on road safety, they are the perfect PR vehicle for a protest.

Ah - the ULTIMATE logical fallacy, attacking the person (argumentum ad hominem) - is this really your best case Pete?

Bzzzt! Repetition (straw man)

Do you have any evidence to back that up? For example, I have no points on my licence and am a law-abiding citizen. I don't support the current road safety campaign. Unless you have other info - this must be the well known fallacy of appeal to popularity - four logical fallacies, three in a single post! That's impressive by any margin. Have you considered a career in politics?
