Saxo - I think you are falling into the same trap I was. I was convinced there was something not right with mine but the general feeling now is they simply are not that quick! LOL.
I seriously believe that. OK, there are some exceptions like Foz but it's hardly a std car... LOL

Maybe try to find someone with a stock one where you live and give em a run somewhere quiet. Best way of telling whether the car is performing as it should. Power of the internet will find you a volunteer i'm sure.

Dont be spooked by the power delivery - i've just gone from an 04WRXPPP to a DC5 and it's very weird not feeling that kick in the back but fact remains the car from 60mph onwards is quicker than the scoob.

Not yet raj and I'm reluctant to until such time as I'm happy my S2000 is an example of an average S2000. The scottish s2ki guys have regular meets so I should be able to meet up with one of them soon enough - just need to find some free time at the weekend.

I still find mine pretty damn quick if its driven right, and more rewarding, even coming from a tweaked STi5... I took a mate out who owns a Boxter S and he was impressed enough to say it felt faster than his.
