Will be there about 11.30 , got to wait for football to finish. Just about give up with trying to wash the car in the rain,everyone in the street is starting to look at me funny now.

 

just washed mine off (in light rain ) and sorted Paul decat centre as well. Hopefully there at 11.30am (ish)

 

Washed mine and even hoovered it (first time in about 14 months of ownership!) after Skoosh (Si)'s comments last time!
Wheels were a bit of a half job though (started raining and couldn't be arsed to get the proper wheel cleaner stuff out of the garage)!

Looking forward to the meet tomorrow, hopefully this rain will of stopped by then and we can have a good run to Derby.

 

I've just been out and bought a 650 quid car cover to stop the rain getting on me car.............................NOT.........!!!

Up at 6 tomorrow to polish it.........gonna book it in for a re-spray on 16th feb at summerhouse in stafford.....and then fit my new wheels and tyres

It was a good meet up. I can actually rmember a few peoples names....Rich, Dave, ChrisP - the other Chris....and the rest

Only bad point was that I didnt know what was going on really....got to Tesco OK, but then everyone left.....so a couple of us followed.....not really knowing where we were going......then I shot past a load of scoobs on the A50.....didnt know wether to stop or what!....

Had some kind of Convoy going on the way back, but I wasnt sure who was who! too many cars!!

But all in all a good day! I'm off to fit my de-cat pipe now, kindy supplied by ChrisP

Really good turnout for 1st meet of the year, let's hope it lasts, it's nice to see and hear so many scoobs rumbling around these quiet villages. Has anybody got any pics of todays meet?

OH yes i do know a luurvley road out that way and on to chesterfield they get better

 

a515 ashbourne-buxton road is good, bout 12 miles start's with few twistes then some good straights(no camera,s either)

then from buxton to bakewell and on to chesterfield few camera's near to bakewell though!

do this run daily in a transit cant wait for summer to get the scoob out there!
