Well I spoke to Argos head office today, and apparantly their is not one left in any of the stores, but they did say they would e-mail me when one was avalible, I then asked at what price and the guy said £39.99, so it's just a case of sitting and waiting, I also said wasn't it illegal to advertise something for sale that you did not have, and the guy agreed.

Have had fun (?) this afternoon - bought a couple of converter straights from the local toy shop (all of £5) and joined together the scoob set with an old set. (Once we'd designed a layout - easier said than done, "suck it and see" appears to be the best method.)

One word of warning, I used the power pack section of track from the old one as a straight and believe me if you don't get the orientation of this and the new one matched, i.e. power packs both on the inside or both on the outside you get some really wierd things going on.

Also used two power supplies on the new power pack - performance suffers otherwise.

 

None at all in the North East.

Got my son the Challenger for christmas, works fine until you put more than three corners together. It does not like the high speed setting either, comes off on the first bend.
