Having looked at both of them in the pictures above I'd say stick with the wagon

Either m8, forrester looks a bit square and add to that all the skirts and spoilers look like they were added as an after thought (drove it through Halfords shop window and everything stuck to it scenario ) They dont seem to sell well either, that silver one has been for sale for ages

Looked a GB270 Wagon also, but wasnt convinced.

Cant deny it has awesome bootspace for the Hounds

...and must be the fastest dog crate on wheels going, all bar an RS4 Avante

The USA & Canada are getting the Saloon WRX and the 5-door Wagon

 

Do you have any pictures of the wagon, we are only getting the hatchback in UK, no wagon

 

the hatchback (Subaru is calling it the 5-door in the USA) should be the same as in UK. Wagons are slowly gaining popularity in USA. They were once thought of as "Your parents car", and the name "wagon" was considered a "bad" word.

 

Ok that will confuse people over here, as the wagon and a hatchback are two different shape cars. The wagon is no more here and all we can get now is the hatch.

We generally have hatchbacks, saloons and SportsWagons or just Wagons, which are normally the bigger 5 door version of a hatch model. i.e Peugeot 207 and the 207 SW.

 

So is there going to be a separate thread created for the hatchbacks? Or, are just keep them in the same group?

 

yes the hatcbacks will continue their own threads as the only impreza model on the uk., but seperate to this one. This one will remain for the true 'Wagon Shape' 1995-2007, Simon Perrymans GB270 being the last of what we know as a True Wagon.

In the uk the only model we get will be the hatchback, the Wagon will die out with the last of the 07 hawkeyes. Much like the 2 door coupe died out.

So I guess yes, the hatcbacks will now dominate as the 'wagon' no longer exists

 

Hatchback Squadron doesn't have the same ring to it as Wagon Squadron does it

 

And is the Squadron Leader ready to accept the hundreds of thoiusands of saloon to hatchback converts, now that th saloon is is no more either over here. All Saloon owners are now potential Hatchbackers now.
