Here's my 1997 GF8 STI Wagon V-Limited, she's number 248/555 and the love of my life (hope the gf doesn't see this!). I've had it for just over a year now and done 10,000mi, been through three tires, an up-pipe, two turbo inlet pipes, an OEM recirc valve, water pump, a set of four pots, a set of front pads and discs, rear droplinks, various bushes, lots of hoses, a ton of rubbery bits but wouldn't have it any other way
I'll be posting lots over the coming months as I have done lots of documented DIY bits already and there is much more to come, although I plan to keep her standard in most places
First post here. Here's my 2006 Hawkeye Wagon. It's only an R Sport but still plenty of fun on the back roads around here. Got it almost exactly a year ago and put almost 12000 miles on it. Hasn't let me down once, except for the exhaust falling off but that doesn't count, right?
What sort of spec is your waggon boggissimo and how did it hold up on the the strain of a hill climb?
It's a 110K mile WRX lump, with a VF35 and supporting mods, running about 320ish. On Brembos and MeisterR coilovers, and with a 20mm rear ARB to get rid of some understeer.
I've done a few sprints and things, with no problems so far (touch wood), realistically most events of that kind are a max of 2 minutes per run at full welly, so shouldn't cause too much trouble. I've also done a couple of events at Silverstone with 40 minutes lapping on the grand prix circuit, which is more of a strain, but I still drove it home with no issues
First picture since I've had some work done. Paint is now a Jaguar 'Storm Grey', new wheels, rears done and tuned up thanks to Alan and Martyn down at ET - a smidge over 500 - thank you to ET for the work.

Engine wise it's a Precision turbo, 2.1 CDB, AVCS heads and forged etc etc. 6 speed. Wheels are Rota Grids, nice and wide, with PS 4s. Rear saloon conversion too. Since the engine work (it was running 425 on an SC46) it's so much pokier and the AVCS is phenomenal, it doesn't redline until around 8750. But I must confess to not ragging then engine to that point. To be honest, I started out many moons ago with this exact spec in mind and have been doing it bit by bit. Just need to keep it running nice now as it remains my main car.

sounds great buddy, have you got a build thread? would like to see a graph of that as im considering a 2.1 stroker for my hawk sti
No laggier than the SC46, due the AVCS. Once you are in gear, anything around 3,000 you take off and don't really stop. The rev range helps and I would really recommend heads.

Figured it's about time I quit lurking and threw a picture of mine up. 2003 WRX wagon bought late last year for £1900 with some bearing noise and a few other bits needing doing, had a friend help me sort most things and had an engine rebuild done by Tim Farmer of SUBBUS using all genuine parts to pretty much factory spec. Paintwork a bit rough in places, scratches and stone chips etc., but fine by me as it means I'm not fussy about using it as a daily. Completely standard as far as I can tell, plan is to put some OEM+ bits like a retrofitted PPP on at some point, but for the time being happy running around in it as is. I've made a thread about it on another forum somewhere, may get around to putting one up here at some point if anyone's interested.
For now, here's a picture of it badly parked in some long grass after I got it MOT'd a couple of months ago.
