If I could get away with 17's I would.....but the Porsche brakes no longer allow it!! Oh well.....

WRX Wagon | Flickr - Photo Sharing! by Emanuele MonacoMy completely stock Blobeye, considering I'm in Italy the previous owner managed to not ding it to hell like most cars around.

He did curb the wheels pretty bad though.
I'm tempted to remove the black door moldings but I'm not sure whether I'll find just tape or clips and holes in the doors holding them on which would need filling.
It also needs to be lowered a tad.

My 2002 WRX wagon... Had to replace the radiator within 2 weeks of buying it and now looking at replacing brake discs (warped) and getting the clutch replaced in the next couple of months. Great car though and happy to be back in a Wagon after selling my last one (WRX ppp) a few years back when insurance and running costs got giddy

This is my Wagon, I have had it just under a year. I have had saloons before, classic and blob, but needed the estate for this fella.

I started off with some subtle modifications, bolt on parts really, to help improve the handling of the car. I purchase the Ultra Racing Font and rear strut braces as the cheapest chassis bracing option to begin with to try and cut down on the body roll.

The rear strut brace was for the GC saloon and needed a 45mm chamfer cutting into the plate to allow the back seats to fit.
Before

After

Adding the braces really improved the handling, but still nothing compared to what i'm use to.
I purchased the whiteline adjustable 24mm heavy duty front and rear anti roll bars along with the CDF drop links - making a much more noticeable change to the handling, however the most effective handling modification that has had the biggest impact, was the coilovers and 18" BBS LM style alloys and the Maxsport RB5 225/40 tyres - The car handles pretty much flat through the corners, with minimum body roll now, and doesn't look too bad either imo.

I was considering more power in the future, the plan was to brace it before I race it - with a TD05 setup and supporting mods, however, I'm not feeling the itch for speed really, I believe i'm happy with the progress made on the chassis and don't intend on taking the car any further, I've lost my mojo at 22
. I will hold onto it for about another year and probably buy a more luxurious car with a few more comforts, Jaguar XF or XJ - depending on funds.
