Would like the closing date to be the end of the month so that it does not drag on for too long and also because some of us want the goodies sooner than others

Yeah count me in, 335mm conversion with grooved disks, and whatever pads are best for fast road/trackday.

Default cost

What is the cost to replace the front disks and pads in the future?
The pads are for std scoob 4 pot caliper? The disks you can only buy from Godspeed?

just checked , the discs are £135 each , and pads are £80 for mintex M1144 and £90 for ferodo DS2500 , you can use the Subaru pads apparently but the ones supplied in the kits are bigger as the pad area on the discs are wider , the discs are Godspeed's own.

Yes, I have these on my RB5 and they're fine under the 17" speedlines.

Drop him an e-mail mate, Ian is very helpful and won't keep you waiting for a response, already e-mailed him a couple times and had an immediate response.

Thanks matey!!

Nearly got enough pennies now!

Just gotta source me a cheap set of rear discs first (standard of uprated) because mine are flooked! (plus the same pads as I decide to go for on the front)

Anyone know/have any lying around - cheap!!?

Jumbo

They did my Godspeed brakes as well, really, really nice guys and will look after you.

Make sure you say you're from the RB5 Owners Club, may well get you a little discount, ask Mark.

Did someone say it was £80 for a set of pads? If I can source my own pads can I knock that amount off?

I'll try to get hold of Ian soon to ask a few odds and sods

If things go well then put me down for a 335 kit minus pads

Apple , did you know that the Godspeed 335mm kit doesn't use the standard shape subaru pads , they use a bigger one , if you try and put the standard shape ones in they dont fit the discs properly

Pads used in this kit are for a Jaguar I believe, if you are going to buy them seperatley you will need the part number from Ian or someone on this site who has replaced theirs.

Yes, I know

I'm trying to get hold of some MBG585 pads in mintex M1230 material rather than M1144 as I've got it on at the moment without problem apart from I'd prefer a bit more deceleration from the upper end when I need it

Loony Toon,
I'm still after some discs and pads for the rear end (MY99).
AWD WRX has said that he thinks I mite be able to get a set of uprated rear vented grooved/drilled discs for cheap if I'm in this GB??

So, could you ask Ian what price he can give me (in total) for the 335mm fronts with grooved and drilled discs, Ferrodo DS2500 pads, vented grooved and drilled discs on the back with matching DS2500 pads plus goodridge stainless stell braided hoses all round??

Thanks mate
