So we're all saying 'full day'

Given that this thing's gonna go on till about 11pm what time do we want to be setting off? I was thinking noon or thereabouts.

If we can get a departure time agreed then we can sort out ETAs at various meeting points,

I propose an 11am departure from the usual Wakefield meeting point (try to get there for about 10:45, just to be on the safe side)

We'll then head to Hartshead Moor Services and hook up with Stevechaps, and anyone else coming from the Bradford way on.

Other meet points may be added between now and then, but as it stands a nice steady drive should see us in Blacpool for 12:30ish. This would give us plenty of time to wander about, visit the Pleasure beach, ride a tram, grab some food, etc. before making our way to the Halfords main meeting point for 6-6:30.

An hour or so mooching, clicking, filming, chatting, drooling, etc, then it's away down the front as per the main thread.

Confirmed attendees are on the first post of this thread, let me know if you want adding, and where you will be meeting and I'll keep the thread updated.

Once again, last year's second run (Didn't make the first ) was fantastic, and there was only 40 or so out then. This will be one of the 'Do Not Miss' events of the year.

Now don't fancy leaving the car parked up for the day (Still have horrific memories of returning to my Capri 2.0GT [1st ever car] at 11.30pm in B'pool to find 1/2 the engine missing [no it hadn't turned into a 1 litre!] & spent the night freezing in it then having to get the thing repaired next day). With Chavs about in huge numbers I'll loose the badges (AGAIN - Donno Chav meet), the logo'd dustcaps, the stickers etc etc etc infact anything & everything removeable!
Will see how it goes, decide late on Full Day, Just Evening, Not Go or the 'If you can't beat em' option of turning up in our Saxo (Need some HKS & Blitz stickers first tho Andy, obviously)

Saw Chris this aft and said I couldn't make it (as if you'd have been gutted )

Watch it if you take the country routes around Preston (especially from M6 junction with roundabout each side of m/way) - Old Bill seemed to be **** hot on reeling people in and it seemed to be zero tolerance on speed last couple of times I've been through

Mind you, alledgedly 70 in a 40 doesn't help the cause
