Just a word of advice (if anyone can see my posts :rolleyes) I would open the KL Display up and check the wiring thoroughly. There have been loads lately that have had some minor wiring issues and the important red lights weren't working.

It was so easy to fit took about 20 minutes. You dont have to take the intercooler off , just remove the 3 bolts holding it in place and you can get your hand in to fit the sensor.

Smile Bolt ?

Are you supposed to get the bolt with the kit to hold the sensor on. If so I haven't. If not what bolt will I need.

Cheers

I fitted the sensor with a M8(8mm bolt) it was 25mm long i think.
Just got to wire it in over the next few days.

No you don't get the bolt, just use a M8 x 25mm bolt which will be fine, i've just been down to Homebase and they do them and any DIY store should have them.

Just a word of warning about mounting the LED's in the dash, if you mount them like below

http://forums.sidc.co.uk/attachments...nk%5F001%2Ejpg

or

http://img20.photobucket.com/albums/...by/klsmall.jpg

you won't be able to see the red LED light up as it has a very narrow viewing angle, you could change the LED or mount the red LED so you can see it head on.

Cheers

Well i had a go at doing this myself and i must say it was very fiddly and took me ages, i would say the above price seems very good value and well worth the money.

It will be despached in a bubble wrap package and then a Jiffy bag.

I will personally test the knocklink in my car prior to shipping.

Mine waiting for the next car as I have one on the current Scoob. I will swap the Box and sensor over on the wiring to check it thogh.

On max sensitivity a tap on the head of the bolt with a socket extension (not too hard) should say 'toast'

Just thought i would show everyone my install of the knocklink display

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...inkDisplay.jpg

I decided that i didn't like the original box that the LED's were mounted in as it was too big and bulky so i put some new LED's in a smaller box, I've put the new box by the ashtray but it could be mounted anywhere, now before anyone asks I'm not gonna do anymore as it was a real pain in the **** to do

If anyone want's to do this themself i can give them the part numbers of the bits they need from the Maplin catalogue , or you can send them to ***** (reply below) and he will extend the wires for the LED's but you will still have to fit them where you want or in a new box like i did

Granby

After i modified my knocklink display i decided to move the display to somewhere i would be able to see it better, after a few attempts i decided to put the display here

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...inkDisplay2.jpg

to make it fit nice & snug i put some sticky Velcro on each side of the box and it now fits lovely (i did put it on top of the steering column but it looked CRAP).
