The WR1 is only available in the UK. But it is based on a 'Petter Solberg Special Edition' available in Europe which I know nothing about !

The 'Petter Solberg Special Edition' doesn't have any Prodrive goodies added it's just a standard STi in ice blue with DCCD as far as I know?

Yup. Prodrive only does UK models AFAIK.

I was only quoting Tony [smartarse] Burns to be honest !!

Oh, and the gay colour
It's quit scary that you know so much about GAY colours.

I, myself think it's a cool blue, looks a lot better in person, but if you think it's GAY made be it's time for you to come clean and ask the man in your relationship/ your boy friend what he thinks, because you.... his bitch thinks anything shinny and clean is a gay colour......lol.......

In the interest of debate. I like the car (as far as the ugly modern day scoobs go) but the colour is kinda gay. Its just my opinion though Clive....

If i had to pick one site it would be 22b.com.

Nothing against this place, just there are too many members on here for it to be as personal as it used to be.

Too much noise if you will.

bbs.22b.com is just a name, it is full of the most technical info available on the net for all models of subaru, WR1s included.

All this about been a Gay colour................. looses me.

Can anyone explain to me what a Gay colour is, and don't just say a WR1......

Pink I can understand would be seen as Gay...........

May be all the WR1 owners should get out and buy either one of the following as a driving suit:

1, Cow Boy Outfit
2, Builders tool belt
3, Not forgetting the Wig Wam Look, then I could get my chopper out and do some damage.

LOL

www.wr1oc.co.uk was set up for all wr1 owners

Its a easly site address to remember and to advertise in mags.

The Site needs a Chairman to look after it. ( you know who you are )

just waiting for a response.

You are all forgetting what the C stands for in WR1OC

Like the P1WOC, RB5OC and many others they are clubs and not just an internet forums like Scoobynet. Big difference

Got a bit stuck with the travel agents the other day when booking the WR1 into the car parking peeps at Gatwick.

What model and colour.....

Better Say Impreza.. keep things simple.. now the colour was difficult and the travel agent got a tad fed up as in some lights it looks silver and in others a blue.

After going on for a bit regarding different colours under different lights, the travel agent said .. ITS SILVER THEN...

mmm Light Silverish Blue Metalic. ..

Oh well the car park attendant will like it anyway as hes expecting a Silver Impreza

[QUOTE=davyboy]I just don't see the point in having a specialist web site for a different coloured Impreza? All of you will look at SN for technical info anyway.

Ever heard of choice !!

I actually thought we were all Impreza lovers and were a collective, I have had 4 scoobs from the classic to the WR1, loved all of them, colour, shape, sound etc see a scoob and I smile.

I accept we all have opinions but I can not get over how much stick the WR1 gets on this site, a WR1 site makes it easier for the owners to communicate with each other, I assume all the other limited editions which have their own sites received the same response ?

Perhaps one day we will be accepted by all on here, theres hoping.

well this one is.

Went to put my first tank of optimax in this evening. Pulled up behind a corsa at the pumps with 4 lads in who all turned and stared. In fact most of the station was having a gander! When I pulled up to the pumps I got out before remembering the fuel filler release button was in the car. Opened the door, released the filler cover and just about to fill up before realising I'd left my wallet at home so had to sheepishly close it back up, get in and drive off empty handed

classic, things always go wrong at the petrol station when the whole place is looking at your WR1

confused me.....i wasnt quite sure about the colour before i bought it but looks great in person, everybody that has seen my car has commented on the colour and liked it,i cant help but feel that all the people that dont like it either havent seen it or are definatley in the minority.
not much point in spending 5k+ on extras for your STI(and still have less power)when you can by a WR1 with them already on for less and have a limited edition
