out of interest, does a 50' roll easily cover all the downpipe, will there be enough left over to do the centre section also?
what about the headers? how long a 1" roll would we need?

imo- headers are best done with 2".. but obviously it gets awkward towards the collector not much space) so 1" does have its place I suppose..
for the DP 50ft should do it. did mine recently and had plenty left over.. BUT not enough for centre..

I would say 50ft of whichever width at least Peanuts..

so is the wrap we are looking at capable of dealing with header temps?? (ie: feckin high)

 

This stuff is quoted as being ok for continous temps of just shy 1100degC. So should be ok.

Agriemach have responded this morning to our intial enquirey.
they have asked for further info from you lot but are happy with the numbers and will offer prices as soon as the info they require has been received.

I assume the best method is for all items to go to your own individual addresses and that you can sort out your own payment to the company directly, thereby meaning I do less work and you can thrash out any details when you contact them.

can you please have a go at the questions and then send me a pm marked as "ex- wrap gb" or something similar.
I myself am not sure about the required number of snap straps or tins of paint but am not bothered by the colour.
Can someone with a bit more knowledge let the group know how much wrap is required for downpipe, headers and how many straps/tins of paint are required please?

think on my last set of headers i used 1x50ft 2in and 1x50ft 1in to wrap them (i think)
