Some good news for you then, I rang both Demon Tweeks and Powerstation and this is what they said...

Demon Tweeks
I spoke to Dave Featherstone at Demon Tweeks and after a bit of persuasion and reasoning he says he will allow us to ring up on an individual basis and give him our parts list, card details and delivery address etc. and get a discount of 15% off their standard catalogue price (this applies to Whiteline products only so don't expect them to discount anything else by this ammount!). To get this you MUST speak to Dave directly and mention that you are part fo the Scoobynet Whiteline chassis products group buy. His direct phone number is 01978 663042.

Powerstation
Dirk from Powerstation said that they would offer us a group buy discount of 20%, BUT their prices are dearer than Demon Tweeks to start with so it would work out more expensive doing the group buy with them.
For example, a pair of steel droplinks are £38+VAT = £44.65 less 20% discount = £35.72. This compares to £27.27+VAT from DT = £32.04 less 15% discount = 27.24, i.e. 30% dearer! The ARB's work out at £45 each dearer from Powerstation.

Powerstation would be willing to fit the ATB's, ALK's etc. even if these were not bought from them, prices as follows:

To fit 1 ARB and a pair of droplinks (1 hour labour@£40+VAT/hr) = £47
To fit an ALK to a classic it is £20+VAT and a new age £40+VAT after which you need to get the alignment re-set at a cost of £60+VAT.

I'd confirm the above prices with PS if you do want them to supply the products of get them fitted by them as he was quoting figures from the top of his head.

I propose that we all ring up Dave Featherstone at Demon Tweeks and place our orders tomorrow.
Those people that want the products fitted by Powerstation can still get the ARB's etc from DT and give them to PS to fit.

Whiteline have also increased their prices by 7% due to an increase in the cost of steel, Powerstation say that they have already increased their prices accordingly, once the stock is exhausted at DT they may do the same.
I for one am ordering my bits tomorrow morning, I suggest you do the same!

Just ordered mine!

All prices inc VAT for classic products:
ALK £77.34
Steel drop links £27.24
ARB's (non-adj fast road type) £57.83
P&P £7.93 (2-3 days delivery)

total order came to £247.48, should have been £255.41, a saving of £51.50 which is 15%
Phone up and order yours while this offer is on, I know at least one of you have phoned up already (Jason?).

If Dave Featherstone at Demon Tweeks is busy, send him an email with your phone number on and he will call you back (davef@demon-tweeks.co.uk).

Cheers all!

Ordered mine just after 9am and he said it was the third call in a row for the GB
I took the cheapest p+p which should arrive tue or wed but knowing Tweeks it will probably turn up on mon I have ordered stuff off them before at 3.30 - 4pm and it has turned up the next morning
They are very reasonable on p+p too, its was nice to find out that they are not holding back the orders until they have recieved so many - they are shipping straight away

Thanks for organising this. Just jumped on the bandwagon as a late entry! Hope thats OK.

Dave (at Demon Tweeks) asked me to mention that he is not there between 17th July and 26th July. There will however be someone on his line who can help.

Cheers again.

You've fitted yours already!!??
I've just received mine today, think it's a bit too late to start today, will have a go at replacing the rear one at least tomorrow night. I'm surprised the ALK is so big, I thought it would have been much smaller. Now I see why it was £77.34!

One quote I didn't mention, some people were on about getting the bumpsteer mod fitted so I asked PowerStation how much this would be. Aparently they do a full geometry setup and measure the bumpsteer, add spacers (I assume under the rack) to suit, and then re-check the alignment. It sounds a labourious job, hence the cost of £120+VAT. You can phone them on 01242 238400.

Fitted my ARB's and drop links tonight. Went on reasonably easily after using a few gallons of penetrating fluid to get the old ones off!
Unfortunately I have got 1x 20mm bush for the rear ARB and 1x 22mm bush, so I have fitted the standard bushes at present. I'll have to ring up Dave at DT tomorrow and ask for a replacement.

If anyone's old standard Rear ARB and droplinks are looking for a new home, I would gatefully take them to fit onto my sport? Let me know what you would like for them and I will happily give you something to allow you to free up garage/shed space.

I am in Berkshire and will travel to pick bits up within reason, if not it may be postage time?
