Sorry, I don't get it ^, but it's ok.

I think you underestimate my near-irrational love for the simple batter-based sweetmeat.

Thing is, I've been grazing on plain choc digestives at work today - ain't got no appetite. Damn!
LOL

I made no pancakes tonight. I went to Tesco after work and the sight of some extra mobile shelves full of readymade flour for pancakes and stuff right at the entrance was quite intimidating. I didn't feel gravitated at all. Why would you buy some American looking readymade flour when you can make your own mix in two minutes! Anyway, my saliva glands might be subdued due to this lingering head cold I've had, for last two weeks. So, I simply bought my Strepsils and migraine tablets and got out. Actually, I did buy a pair of slippers as well. The previous ones broke this morning.

I will make some of my own again, soon. Pancakes that is. I just don't know when.

Simply meant that, ironically, I'd prefer the humble pancake over the relatively 'high-end' lobster, any day of the week.

I made some yesterday and I'm having more tonight! Lemon and caster sugar is great but I think maple syrup is better, especially with pecan cream. Too much time spent in the USA I suppose!

Hi,
Made a big mix this evening (it's 4 hours ahead of UK in Abu Dhabi!)
Tossed three pancakes and the gas bottle ran out on the cooker - can't be bothered to drive to garage to get new bottle tonight - will get one in the morning!
Cheers
Steve

Well done Nicci - I was trying to get on earlier today but wifi is awful...

Wife went and hard-boiled all our eggs yesterday I think if I shell one, stamp on it, then sprinkle it with flour and lemon, it won't taste the same...

Scandalous indeed, and here's me getting set to get rid of my C63 to replace it with an E63

Nice!
Just sat in one of the new E class - OMG awesome car!!

Even at 31p a litre we still spend more than £100 week on fuel.
School run is 140 miles per day and one car does 15mpg (ML63AMG with 557hp) and the other around 25mpg (Infiniti G37 coupe with 329hp)

This one isn't new, that's too much dough for me, its a 2015 car.
140 mile school run - ha, that's mad, having said that you've got fantastic roads, unlike the crap we've got to drive on.

Damn, that passed me by (I normally have a memory like a sponge when it comes to nostalgic TV of yesteryear).

What was it; a program? Or advert?

Was the principal character, Red Dwarf's Danny John-Jules?

So who’s not allowed pancakes (eggs and milk) as they are Fashionably Vegan after watching that documentary?

What do people think of M&S's pre-made, meekro-wah-vay pancakes?

If you can't be bothered working up your own batter lol, then I think they're perfectly serviceable.
