Just in case any of you lot are up for a drive out on Sunday, a few of us are meeting at Ace, 11am, before heading down to the Surrey Meet. Will leave Ace around 11.15 to pick up a few more at Kew (retail park - over Kew bridge, bear left at the lights towards Mortlake, under the bridge and retail park is the next left at the lights).

Hope some of you lot can make it.

 

im gonna keep this in mind, hopefully will make it, just not sure what the wife is up to work wise. her new cars not due to till next wednesday, so may have to take her in and pick her up.

just one question, did you hear the explosion from my exhaust as we came onto the M25?!!!!!!!!!!! It nearly frightened me to death. I was looking at the traffic ahead wondering if the lanes were merging, hit the rev limiter (!!!!!), changed gear and........BANG, OMFGG

you went as a passenger in Cliff's car? You're a brave man!!! Remember he drive's a van all week, he used to have a REALLY SLOW bugeye and I'm not quite sure whether he's up to the power of a classic yet?

Was nice to see you lot yesterday. Glad you enjoyed the meet.

Must of missed the silver wagon in action though. Was that the MY98, reg **** DOG? Was speaking to the owner, Andy, and he told me he'd had an EBC fitted. I think at the highest boost setting it's running around 280bhp.

hey buddy, yep Andy Pughs silver wagon done me good and proper from the lights where we were all revving up I was flat out and feeling good, then all of a sudden heard a roar and whistle, and he was going past me like i`d forgotten to bring my turbo!!!

 

The traffic light GP out of Newlands is always good for a giggle. Speaking of, I had the same done to me last year. Heading up the hill where the lanes merge and a green scoob flies past like I'm going backwards. Turns out he was NOS'd up.

 

V5 MAN, get yourself an HKS EVC V and you will not look back, well only to see those you left behind great piece of hardware and its still learning too, the drive to work today became more interesting one may say

 

Derogatory? That's a big word for a BT engineer!! I didn't come because I was sulking still! and even more so as I broke a headlight in the week! So when Scott called me on saturday I couldn't be bothered, and also I'm about 3 weeks behind with my uni work.
But I've got my foglight covers now(Thanks to Jamie at JW racing) and my car's getting paitned on the 5th of April, Wo hoooo!
PS. I think you've got the bigger turbo on your car so if you can chuck enough fuel in you can get it mucho fast, I've only got a little one (turbo that is!!) so I can't get much more than 290ish and ecutek remaps are big bucks!!

 

EBC was £250 delivered from the states. The guy will put a value on $20 on it too so I don't get clobbered for import duty. I reckon going from 0.8 bar to 1.1 will give me near enough 300bhp, but then I've got to be looking into spending some big bucks which I doub't I will do.

 

KING RA, What motor you planning to put it on mate?
